¯ HARMONY — Nathan E. Manhart, 43, of Ashville was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Deputies were called Tuesday to a residence in the town of Harmony for an altercation. An investigation found that Manhart allegedly engaged in a confrontation in front of a young child. He is scheduled to appear in Harmony Town Court later.

¯ SALAMANCA — Aubrey E. Baize, 25, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. During a traffic stop Wednesday on Wildwood Avenue in the city of Salamanca, Baize was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was issued an ticket to appear in Salamanca City Court later.
