JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Malcolm Roberts, 27, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation improper/no turn signal. Jeffrey Payne, 27, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana. Officers stopped a vehicle Saturday at 9:53 p.m. at Myrtle Street and Linden Avenue for an alleged traffic violation. An investigation found that Roberts was allegedly in possession of marijuana and cocaine. Payne was also reportedly found in possession of marijuana and was released with appearance tickets. Roberts was transported to Jamestown City Jail and later released with appearance tickets.

¯ Tiffany L. Jones, 38, of Jamestown was charged with improper left turn onto a one-way street, unregistered motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Officers stopped a vehicle Sunday at 2:06 a.m. near Washington and West Sixth streets. An investigation found that Jones was allegedly operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail to submit to a breath test and later released with appearance tickets.

¯ Andrew J. Cowan, 26, of Jamestown was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, improper left turn onto a one-way street, insufficient turn signal, failure to maintain lane and driving while intoxicated. Officers stopped a vehicle Saturday at 12:56 a.m. near West Fourth and Jefferson streets that was reportedly driving erratically. It was later found that Cowan was allegedly operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail where he refused to submit to a breath test. Cowan was later released with appearance tickets.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Phillip P. Gardner, 39, no address listed was charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and harassment. Officers responded Friday at 7:40 p.m. to a reported domestic incident in West Ellicott. During their investigation, officers said Gardner became disorderly and combative. He was released with tickets to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ GREAT VALLEY — Chelsea E. Coldren, 28, of Lewis Run, Pa., was charged for driving while intoxicated. Troopers stopped a vehicle Friday on Route 219 in the town of Great Valley. Coldren was found to be driving while in an intoxicated condition after reportedly failing several field sobriety tests at the scene. A chemical breath test showed her BAC was 0.17%. Coldren was released with tickets to appear in Great Valley Town Court later.
