CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ ELLERY — Sally M. Lawson, 62, of Bemus Point was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Deputies responded Sunday to a residence in the town of Ellery for an unwanted person. Following an investigation, Lawson was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ GERRY — Guy A. Spencer, 46, of Sinclairville was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a BAC of 0.18% or greater and moving from lane unsafley. Deputies on Dec. 29 at 2:43 a.m. located a vehicle in a ditch on Terry Road in the town of Gerry. The driver was located a short time later, and Spencer was determined to be intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Gerry Town Court later.

¯ ELLERY — Kevin P. Dahlbeck, 37, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a BAC of 0.08% or greater, moving from lane unsafely, failure to keep right and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies stopped a vehicle Sunday on Maple Springs Road in the town of Ellery for multiple lane violations. An investigation found that Dahlbeck was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Gerry Town Court later.

¯ WESTFIELD — Ryan T. Leid, 29, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree grand larceny. An investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation division found that Leid allegedly stole $39,000 in cash, three men’s gold rings and a necklace from a relatives safe at a residence on Route 20 in the town of Westfield. Leid is scheduled to appear in Westfield Town Court later.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Cedric Denson, 38, of Busti was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. An investigation found that Denson allegedly acted in a manner that was injurious to the welfare of a child less than 17 years old. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Luke Swanson, 32, of Jamestown was charged with no/inadequate lights, insufficent turn signal, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Officers stopped a vehicle Jan. 1 at 1:43 a.m. near the intersection of East Hamilton Street and Fairmount Avenue for driving without headlights. It was found that Swanson was operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. A chemical breath test showed his BAC with over the legal limit. He was released to appear in Jamestown City Court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ Mandy Hepler, 42, of Warren, Pa., was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance by ultimate users original container. Hepler was stopped Friday on Route 60 in the town of Ellicott for a traffic violation. Hepler was allegedly found in possession of concentrated THC and 14 oxycodone pills for which she did not have a prescription. Hepler is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

¯ ALLEGANY — Frank J. Felt, 47, of Salamanca was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Felt was stopped Thursday on Route 417 in the town of Allegany. Felt was reportedly found in possession of methamphetamine. He is scheduled to appear in Allegany Town Court later.
