LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Tiffany M. Carr, 27, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. Carr was stopped by Walmart loss prevention personnel as she reportedly attempted to leave the store with $378.05 worth of merchandise Tuesday at 6 a.m. Carr was prevented from leaving because she tried to leave through a door that was locked. She was issued an appearance ticket to be in Busti Town Court later.

¯ Steven D. Crowl Jr., 24, of Lakewood was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. An investigation found that Crowl allegedly struck a female victim several times while a child under the age of 16 was present. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Michael P. Griffith, no age or address listed, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, moving from lane unsafely and speed not reasonable or prudent. Officers stopped a vehicle Monday at 8:50 p.m. in the village of Falconer. It was learned that Griffith was operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated state. He was processed and released with tickets to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
