CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPT.

¯ DUNKIRK — Benjamin Catalino, 23, of Silver Creek was charged with petit larceny and trespassing at 3:05 a.m. Dec. 14. Deputies investigated a larceny of Frito-Lay products from a delivery truck parked at a Frito-Lay property at 10676 Route 60 in Dunkirk. A worker came to get in the truck at 3:05 a.m. and found two men sitting in the cab of the truck eating products that had been stolen from the back end of the truck. While the driver called 911, the men ran away. Deputies found the men walking down the road a short distance away, with the men reportedly identified by the driver. Both men were released by deputies while the investigation continued. Arrest warrants were issued, and Catalino was picked up by New York State Police for another incident. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail, arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Program and released to be in court later.

¯ STOCKTON — Todd A. Witt, 41, of Sinclairville was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to stop at a stop sign while Barbara A. Houser, 33, of Westfield was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator at 11:39 p.m. Wednesday after a traffic stop on Route 380 in Stockton. Deputies pulled a vehicle over for a traffic violation. Witt was allegedly driving. During a search of the vehicle, deputies report finding methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both were charged and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
