After Probe, Starflight Pilots Enter Guilty Pleas

Two Starflight pilots have been given conditional discharges after items were stolen from the Starflight hangar, 133 Allen St,. Jamestown.

According to a police report, Jacob P. Ventura, 34, of Chaffee and Mark S. Chamberlain, 60, of Hamburg were each charged in May with petit larceny after an internal investigation into larcenies from the Starflight hangar, where Ventura and Chamberlain were employed by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Dept. as pilots. Jamestown police officers charged Ventura and Chaffee.

Both pilots appeared in Jamestown City Court with their attorneys on different days for processing where each of them pleaded guilty to petit larceny and were given conditional discharges. Ventura’s conditional discharge will last 12 months and Chamberlain’s will last six months.
