CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ SILVER CREEK — Robert W. Roll, 31, of Hamburg was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of an accident and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies were called at 3:13 p.m. on Oct. 29 to a crash on Main Street in the village of Silver Creek. An investigation found that Roll was driving while under the influence of drugs. He is scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Village Court later.

¯ SHERIDAN — James E. Burns, 62, of Irving was charged with moving from lane unsafely, refusal to take breath test, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxication. Deputies were called at 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 29 to a crash in the town of Sheridan. Burn was found to have been driving while in an intoxicated condition. He is scheduled to appear in Sheridan Town Court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ OLEAN — Javier A. Moreno, 23, of Jamestown was charged with criminal possession of an hallucinogen and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana. Moreno was a passenger in a vehicle stopped Friday on Interstate 86 in the town of Hinsdale. He was reportedly found in possession of psilocybin mushrooms and marijuana, and is scheduled to appear in Hinsdale Town Court later.

¯ OLEAN — Kathleen B. MacMurray-Taylor, 49, of Olean was charged with driving while intoxicated. Troopers were investigating a report of an erratic driver Oct. 30 on Interstate 86. MacMurray-Taylor was located on Wayne Street in the city of Olean. An investigation found she was allegedly operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition after failing field sobriety tests on scene. MacMurray-Taylor provided a breath sample of 0.17% and was later released to appear in Allegany Town Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Travis J. Spencer, 32, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated family offense, first-degree criminal contempt, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers were dispatched at 9:52 a.m. on Saturday to a residence on Chapman Street. It was found that Spencer had allegedly head-butted a victim several times in front of a juvenile and violated an order of protection. He was taken into custody and held for arraignment.
