JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Wilfredo Castrillo, 43, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers responded at 5:32 p.m. on Tuesday to West Fourth Street for an order of protection violation. Castrillo was found in an apartment with a female, violating the order of protection. He was taken into custody and held for arraignment in Jamestown City Jail.

¯ Ricky J. Myers, 20, was taken into custody Monday on felony warrants for first-degree robbery, second-degree menacing and second-degree assault. As officers attempted to speak with Myers in the area of 215 S. Main St., he fled on foot. He was later located and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He faces an additional charge of second-degree obstructing governmental administration.

¯ Ezra D. Flores, 19, of Lakewood was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Officers were flagged down at 10:14 a.m. on Wednesday on Barrett Avenue for a possible neighbor dispute. While investigating the dispute, Flores reportedly left on a bicycle and fled from officers. Flores was taken into custody at the Forest Avenue on-ramp, and it was later learned that he was wanted out of Jamestown City Court on several felony warrants.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Fernando Velazquez-Nazario, 32, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. Officers were dispatched Friday to a business in the town of Ellicott for an alleged shoplifting complaint. Velazquez-Nazario was taken into custody following an investigation and is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Aaron M. Hoover, 22, of Pittsfield, Pa., was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and driving with one head lamp. Officers stopped a vehicle at 10:22 p.m. on Monday for driving with one head lamp on East Fairmount Avenue. During the stop, Hoover was allegedly found in possession of a considerable amount of marijuana in a bag. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ WESTFIELD — Derek Smith, 33, of Silver Creek was charged with second-degree sexual abuse. An investigation was conducted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division into a report of a suspicious situation. It was later learned that on June 6 at a Route 20 location in Westfield, Smith allegedly enganged in sexual acts with a juvenile victim. He was arraigned Monday in Westfield Town Court.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ Joseph C. Gierszewski, 27, of South Dayton was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana. Gierszewski was stopped Friday on Oak Road in South Dayton for a traffic violation. Gierszewski was later found in possession of crystal methamphetamine and marijuana. He is scheduled to appear in South Dayton Village Court next month.

¯ Christina L. Gearman, 18, of Gowanda was charged with second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana. Preston R. Finch-Gerkulak, 18 of Perrysburg was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana. Gearman was stopped Saturday on Main Street in South Dayton for a traffic violation. Gearman was allegedly found in possession of a clear plastic bag containing marijuana. Finch-Grekulak was found in possession of cocaine, MDMA and smoking pipe containing marijuana residue. Both were released with tickets to appear in South Dayton Village Court.
