CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Timothy A. Gribble, 57, of Ripley was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to keep right and stopping on roadway. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 12: 31 a.m. on Wednesday for failing to keep right and stopping on Route 430 in the town of Chautauqua. Gribble is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later to answer the charges.

PANAMA — Joseph R. Lindberg, 22, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI, speed not reasonable and prudent and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies were called at 3:14 a.m. on Thursday to Meyers Road in Panama for a rollover crash. An investigation found that Lindberg was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. A 23-year-old male passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash. Lindberg is scheduled to answer the charges in Harmony Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Todd E. Dalton, 35, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Chasity A. Anderson, 39, of Jamestown was charged with false personation and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle at 1:40 a.m. on Thursday on West Seventh Street near Cherry Street. Officers observed a small bag containing drug paraphernalia and prescription pills in plain view on the rear seat in the vehicle. Dalton was identified as the driver and was taken into custody. Anderson reportedly gave officers a false name as she had outstanding warrants from Jamestown and Ellicott courts. Both were taken to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.
