JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Amber L. Conrad, 35, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after Jamestown police officers conducted a warrant check at 308 E. Fifth St. at 9:49 p.m. Thursday. Conrad allegedly tried to run back into an apartment when she saw officers and was allegedly found with oxycodone hydrochloride pills. She was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until she can be arraigned.

¯ Dennis J. Rollinger, 32, of Erie, Pa., was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, no seat belt, failure to keep right and operating a motor vehicle while using a mobile device at 1:59 a.m. Friday on Fluvanna Avenue near Holmstead Avenue. Officers pulled over a vehicle after the driver was allegedly seen talking on a cellphone. The driver allegedly had a loaded firearm in the vehicle without a valid state pistol permit. Rollinger was taken to Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Janice A. Rial was charged Thursday with fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal trespass after allegedly stealing a dog from an Ellicott residence. Ellicott police responded to a past-tense burglary that a dog had been taken from a home. On Thursday, officers found out the dog had been returned and identified Rial as the person who allegedly took the dog. Rial will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MAYVILLE — Caitlyn M. Reardon, 18, of Mayville was charged with second-degree menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday after deputies responded to a reported assault on Patterson Street, Mayville. Reardon allegedly tried to stab another person with a sharp object. She was taken to Chautauqua County Jail so she could be arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Program.

¯ ELLERY — Sally M. Lawson, 62, of Ellery was charged with petit larceny after deputies responded to an address on Belleview Heights for a possible larceny. Lawson allegedly stole property that did not belong to her. She will be in Ellery Town Court later.
