¯ SILVER CREEK — A 17-year-old male was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment. Deputies were called June 27 at 7 p.m. to Drake Street in the village of Silver Creek to investigate a fight. A 17-year-old male was taken into custody Wednesday after the investigation concluded. He was released with tickets to appear in Silver Creek Village Court later.

¯ ELLERY — Kevin Hughes, 57, of Dewittville was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia. Deputies on Aug. 14 executed a search warrant on Ellery Centralia Road in the town of Ellery. During the search, a firearm, quantity of psilocybin mushrooms and methamphetamine were located. Hughes was taken into custody Friday and transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ DUNKIRK — Sean M. Sticek, 25, of Fredonia was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. Deputies stopped a vehicle Friday on Bennett Road in the town of Dunkirk. An investigation found that Sticek was allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence of drugs. He was released with tickets to appear in Dunkirk Town Court later.

¯ SINCLAIRVILLE — Ralph A. Johnson, 54, of Sinclairville was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating without an interlock device. Deputies stopped a vehicle Friday for an alleged traffic violation. An investigation found that Johnson was operating his vehicle while intoxicated. He was released with tickets to appear in Charlotte Town Court later.

¯ POMFRET — Allen L. Woodworth, 38, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI with a BAC of 0.18% or higher and speed over 55 zone. Deputies on Saturday at 12:08 a.m. observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret. Woodworth was taken into custody following an investigation. He is scheduled to appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.

¯ STOCKTON — Justin L. Horton, 34, of Stockton was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree aggravated harassment. Deputies were called Saturday to Stockton for a report of a person damaging property in a residence. An investigation found that Horton damaged multiple objects and made threats to physical harm. Horton was being held in Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment.

¯ KIANTONE — Robert P. Rizzardi, 60, of Russell, Pa., was charged with DWI, DWI per se and failure to yield. Deputies were called Aug. 22 at 11 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash on Route 62 in the town of Kiantone. Deputies learned that Rizzardi allegedly failed to yield to cross traffic at an intersection and was intoxicated while operating the vehicle. He was released to appear in Kiantone Town Court later.

¯ SHERMAN — A 20-year-old male of Sherman was charged with failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Deputies responded to a crash Sunday at 7:55 p.m. on Route 76 in the town of Sherman. A vehicle was found unoccupied after striking a utility pole. The 20-year-old returned to the area. He was detailed for suspicion of operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol under 21 years of age. He is scheduled to appear in Sherman Town Court later.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Charles W. Brown, 47, no address given was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle Friday at 1:15 a.m. in the town of Ellicott. It was learned that Brown was in possession of a controlled substance he did not have a prescription for. Brown was also found to have a warrant out of Jamestown. He was issued a ticket to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
