Two Wanted People Apprehended

ASHVILLE — Two people wanted out of Warren County, Pa., were jailed following a traffic stop Monday morning, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said.

Michael J. Connolly, 34, of Russell, Pa., and Abigail A. Higgins, 29, of Warren, Pa., were stopped at 6:24 a.m. on South Maple Street in the town of North Harmony. Deputies learned Connolly and Higgins both had warrants out of Warren County.

While being taken into custody, the pair was allegedly found in possession of a “quantity of a controlled substance, marijuana, hypodermic instruments and various drug paraphernalia,” the Sheriff’s Office said.

Connolly and Higgins were taken to Chautauqua County Jail on charges of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and being a fugitive from justice. They were held for arraignment.
