CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ Philip J. Traver, 27, of Silver Creek was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. to a residence in Hanover for a reported disorderly person. An investigation found that Traver intentionally damaged the property of another person. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
¯ HANOVER — Edith E. Cooper, 65, of Irving was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and no/inadequate head lamps. Deputies stopped a vehicle Saturday on Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover for an alleged traffic violation. Cooper was taken into custody following an investigation. She is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.
¯ MAYVILLE — Steven Dean, no age given, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Dean is alleged to have been found with “dangerous contraband” in the form of a cutting weapon. It was also found that Dean caused damage to a jail mattress. He was arraigned in centralized arraignment.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
¯ Nathasha Feliciano, 25, of Silver Creek was charged with petit larceny, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Troopers responded to a Dunkirk business Tuesday for a shoplifting complaint. An investigation found that Feliciano allegedly place $200 in merchandise in a person bag and left the store. Feliciano began running when she saw troopers arrive but was taken into custody following a short pursuit. Feliciano was processed and issued tickets to appear in Dunkirk Town Court later.
