Lake Mishap Sends One To Hospital
CASSADAGA — A Cleveland, Ohio, woman was treated for injuries after falling into Cassadaga Lake while tubing Saturday.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said 26-year-old Alison N. Kimborovicz was taken to UPMC Chautauqua following the accident around 2:30 p.m.
The Sheriff’s Office Navigation Division said 61-year-old Holly S. Kimborovicz, of Chardon, Ohio, was operating a boat with three other people, two of whom were on a tube. Alison Kimborovicz reportedly attempted to stand while on the tube, injuring her thigh when hitting the rough waters.
The Cleveland woman was treated by the other passengers and later by members of the Cassadaga Fire Department.
