A Jamestown man is being held for arraignment after police say he strangled a person in front of two children during a domestic incident Monday.

Officers with the Jamestown Police Department were called shortly before 8 p.m. to 27 Weeks St. Outside, officers found one of the victims involved in the incident.

An investigation found that Dylan S. Snickles, no age given, had “choked the victim unconscious and pushed the victim several times all while in front of two small children,” Jamestown police said in a press release.

Snickles was taken into custody on charges of second-degree strangulation and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The city man was transported to Jamestown City Jail.
