CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ BROCTON — Danielle A. Martell, 32, of Dunkirk was charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies responded July 20 to an altercation at a Brocton business. An investigation found that Martell allegedly struck another person and interfered with a call for emergency services. She also allegedly struck another person with a vehicle. Martell was held for arraignment in Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ ELLERY — Patrick L. Lucariello, 82, of Ellery was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Deputies responded Friday at 2:04 p.m. to Route 430 in Ellery for a possible order of protection violation. An investigation found that Lucariello violated a stay away order. He was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ PORTLAND — Xavier A. Berris, 26, of Dunkirk was charged with speeding, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies stopped Berris Saturday at 4:39 p.m. on Route 5 in the town of Portland for speeding. An investigation found that Berris was allegedly intoxicated and in possession of a controlled substance. He was issued tickets to appear in Portland Town Court at a later date.

¯ SHERIDAN — Lee W. Seybold, 58, of Sheridan was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Deputies took Seybold into custody Monday stemming from a larceny report where a bicycle was taken from a residence. Seybold was issued a ticket to appear in Sheridan Town Court later.

¯ DUNKIRK — Lyle G.Howard, 25, of Dunkirk was charged with DWI and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies responded July 12 at 2:27 a.m. to a one-vehicle crash on Route 5 in the town of Dunkirk. Howard was issued tickets following an investigation. He is scheduled to appear in Dunkirk Town Court later to answer the charges.

¯ ASHVILLE — Brian C. Jablon, 41, of Barberton, Ohio, was charged with failure to keep right, aggravated driving while intoxicated-child in vehicle, DWI, refusal to take breath test and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies were alerted Monday at 3:30 p.m. that Jablon was allegedly driving while impaired by alcohol. Deputies spotted the vehicle and followed it for a short distance, and noting that it crossed the center line. An investigation found that Jablon was driving while ability impaired by alcohol He was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Gavin Long, 18, and Corbin Kates, 18, both of Jamestown were each charged with third-degree assault. Officers responded Saturday at 8:09 p.m. to East Second Street for a reported fight. An investigation found that Long and Kates punched and kicked a male victim after knocking him down to the ground. The victim suffered minor injuries. The pair was held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
