NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ PANAMA — Kenneth Houghwot, 36, and Bruce Houghwot, 39, both of Panama, were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Charles Cummins, 48, of Panama was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. Cummins was stopped Sunday on Route 474 in Panama for using a cellphone. An investigation found that the vehicle did not have insurance with crystal methamphetamine, Suboxone and a hypodermic needle containing drug residue inside. Kenneth and Bruce Houghwot were issued appearance tickets and released. Cummins was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and held for arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Patricia A. Bloomgren, 54, of Falconer was charged with petit larceny. Officers were called to a Falconer business for a possible shoplifting complaint. Bloomgren was taken into custody following an investigation. She is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ FREWSBURG — Marley N. Green, 18, of Frewsburg was charged with second-degree harassment. Deputies were called Wednesday at 11 p.m. to West Main Street in Frewsburg. An investigation found that Green allegedly harassed a person at a neighboring residence. She was released with appearance tickets to be in Carroll Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Anthony J. Park, 31, of Jamestown, and Adiamond R. Grover, 27, of Jamestown, were charged with second-degree criminal tresspass Thursday at 2:22 p.m. According to police, upon arrival, officers observed Park, and Grover exiting a Charles Street residence. Upon further investigation, officers learned that an eviction notice had been given and Park, and Grover were not allowed on the property or inside the residence. Both were taken into custody without incident, and taken to Jamestown City Jail, and will be in Jamestown City Court later.
