LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Casey L. Haberberger, 45, of Panama was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, speed in zone and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed Monday at 10:58 p.m. on Forest Avenue Extension. An investigation found that Haberberger was impaired by drugs and driving with a suspended license. Haberberger is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ FREDONIA — Matthew Cassatt, 43, of Cassadaga was charged with second-degree harassment. Troopers responded Wednesday to a Fredonia business for a reported domestic dispute. An investigation, including review of surveillance videos, revealed that Cassatt followed the victim out of the building and struck the victim twice. He was taken into custody and transported to Chautauqua County Jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ James Duncanson, 56, of Gerry was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and backing unsafely. Deputies located a vehicle July 3 backed into the ditch on Salisbury Road in the town of Ellicott. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Duncanson, and following an investigation he was taken into custody. He is scheduled to answer the charges in Ellicott Town Court.

¯ FRENCH CREEK — Gino A. Corsi, 31, of Erie, Pa., was charged with DWI, DWI per se, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies on Sunday at 12:44 a.m. observed a vehicle commit several lane violations on Mann Road in the town of French Creek. Corsi was identified as the driver, and following an investigation was taken into custody. He is scheduled to appear in French Creek Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Deputies responded Tuesday at 3:07 p.m. to Laona Road in the town of Hanover for a reported motorcycle accident with injuries. The operator, 51-year-old Richard J. Catanese of Dunkirk, and a female passenger were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. Charges are pending an investigation. Deputies were assisted by Forestville and Cassadaga fire departments in addition to Chautauqua County EMS.

¯ HARMONY — Courtney M. Thomas, 20, of Ashville was charged with DWI, DWI per se, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies responded Sunday at 2:40 a.m. to a crash on Blockville Flatts Road in the town of Harmony. Thomas was charged following an investigation. She is scheduled to answer the charges in Harmony Town Court later.

¯ SHERMAN — Connor E. McCullough, 19, of Wellsville was charged with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. Deputies on Saturday at 12:07 a.m. observed a vehicle allegedly speeding on Interstate 86. McCullough was taken into custody following an investigation. She will answer the charges in Sherman Town Court later.

¯ CASSADAGA — Joseph B. Keyser, 49, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task force and the Members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force developed information of illegal drug activity at 27 S. Main St. in the village of Cassadaga . The investigation lead to A search warrant being issued out of Stockton Town Court. Keyser was taken into custody after a search allegedly turned up methamphetamine, marijuana, suboxone, drug paraphernalia and a stun gun. More charges are pending.

¯ ELLINGTON — Walter F. Price, 63, of Ellington was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI, no helmet while operating ATV, unregistered ATV and uninsured ATV. Deputies on Wednesday at 4:16 p.m. observed an ATV on a public highway without a helmet in the town of Ellington. An investigation found that Price was operating the ATV in an intoxicated state. He was processed and released with tickets to appear in Ellington Town Court later.

¯ MAYVILLE — Nicholas J. McAdoo, 25, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. While incarcerated at the Chautauqua County Jail, deputies alleged McAdoo damaged a kiosk. He is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Dennis W. Norks, 32, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers observed Norks Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. walking with a female on the River Walk off of Eighth Street. Norks had confirmed warrants through Jamestown City Court in addition to a stay away order of protection from the female he was with. Norks was taken into custody and held for arraignment.

¯ Patrick Roberts, 35, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault. Officers responded Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. to East Fifth Street at Potters Alley for a reported fight. An investigation found that Roberts allegedly struck a male several times with a belt, causing injury. Roberts was located nearby and taken into custody. He was being held pending arraignment.
