3 Face Drug Charges After Incident

Three Jamestown residents are facing drug charges after an alleged incident in the city on Thursday.

According to Jamestown Police, Allan Broadwater Jr., no age or address given, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal contempt, and unlawful possession of marijuana; Robert F.A. McLoud, no age or address given, was charged with second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana; and Lacey K. Barker, no age or address given, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest.

At 11:25 p.m. on Thursday, officers were called to the area East Second and Kipp streets for a possible domestic incident in a vehicle. An investigation revealed that Broadwater was allegedly in violation of an order of protection. After being placed into custody, officers observed a container with a quantity of marijuana and hydrocodone pills allegedly left by Broadwater on the passenger seat of the vehicle. Officers also found an alleged large quantity of marijuana and a digital scale belonging to the driver of the vehicle, McLoud.

Officers spoke with Barker, a passenger in the back seat, found that she was allegedly in possession of a hydrocodone pill. Barker allegedly began to pull away and fight with with officers as officers were attempting to take her into custody. After a brief struggle, Barker was taken into custody.

All three were taken to Jamestown City Jail and will be in Jamestown City Court later.
