Man Charged After Threatening Person With Knife
A Westfield man who police say threatened another person with a knife was taken into custody Monday.
Officers with the Jamestown Police Department were summoned around 4:25 p.m. to 305 E. Fifth St. for a report of a person with a weapon. It was learned that during a verbal altercation 29-year-old Ryan A. Kelley “pulled out a knife and threatened to stab another person during the argument,” JPD said Monday.
Kelley reportedly fled but was located a short time later.
The Westfield man was charged with second-degree menacing and felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
He was being held in Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.
