CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ ELLERY — Marcus Lutgen, 29, of Dewittville was charged with driving while intoxicated. Deputies responded Tuesday at 11:57 p.m. to Maple Grove Road for a reported rollover crash. Lutgen was trapped in the vehicle and was removed with the help of Bemus Point firefighters. County EMS also responded. Lutgen was transported to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment of injuries. He is facing DWI and other vehicle and traffic charges as the result of an investigation.

¯ BROCTON — Paul R. Dunn III, 36, of Brocton was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Dunn allegedly entered and remained in a residence in Brocton. He was issued an appearance ticket to be in Portland Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ An 18-year-old Jamestown man was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, theft of service and criminal impersonation. Officers were investigating a complaint in which an 18-year-old reportedly passed counterfeit money to taxi drivers to pay for fares on two occasions. During the investigation, the male called and requested a taxi at which time the company contacted JPD. Officers stopped the taxi, and when speaking to the 18-year-old, he reportedly gave police a false name. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.
