CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ KIANTONE — Joseph N. Martin, 19, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlawful possesion of alcohol by persons under 21, speed in zone and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies stopped a vehicle Friday at 1:43 a.m. on Route 60 in Kiantone. Martin was found to have his license suspended and in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and open containers of alcohol. He was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ RIPLEY — Mason T. Schnell, 23, of North East, Pa., was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and speed in zone. Deputies stopped a vehicle Thursday at 3:50 p.m. for a traffic violation. Schnell was allegedly found in possession of concentrated cannabis and marijuana. She was released with tickets to appear in Ripley Town Court at a later date.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Matthew A. Simko, 39, of Mayville was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, failure to keep right and unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies observed a vehicle Friday traveling in the wrong lane on Route 430 in Chautauqua. It was found that Simko was under the influence of drugs. A drug recognition expert completed an evaluation and determined that Simko had been operating the vehicle while under the influence of cannabis. He was released with tickets to appear in Chautauqua Town Court.

¯ HANOVER — Andrew L. Blasdell, 35, of Silver Creek was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a BAC of .08% or more, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies were called Saturday at 9:33 p.m. to Hanover for a reported altercation. Blasdell was located at another location, and an investigation found he was driving in an intoxicated condition. He was issued tickets to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

¯ HANOVER — Dalton S. McCurdy, 31, of Silver Creek was taken into custody Saturday after it was learned he had an active felony warrant. McCurdy was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ HARMONY — Joshua A. Ryan, 30, of Ashville was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, no seat belt and expired inspection. Ryan was taken into custody after an alleged incident on Button Valley Road in Harmony on Friday. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Ronda S. Smith, 30, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and unnecessary noise. Officers responded Friday at 10:41 p.m. to West Sixth and Monroe streets for a possible gunshot complaint. Officers located a loud party in the area and advised everyone to lower the volume. Smith allegedly became belligerent and started yelling obscenities. When officers attempted to speak to Smith, she allegedly ran into the residence. She was taken to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

¯ Jennifer M. Allen, 34, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. Officers responded Saturday at 7:15 p.m. to Kwik Fill on West Third Street for a shoplifting complaint. Officers were advised that an unknown person took a 12-ounce Pepsi. Allen was located a short distance away and taken to Jamestown City Jail. She was held for arraignment.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ Kenneth L. Connors, 25, of Dallas, Texas, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, criminal mischief, unlawful fleeing and multiple vehicle and traffic violations. Connors was taken into custody following a complaint of a stolen vehicle from the Walmart parking lot. Deputies and officers from Salamanca pursued the vehicle on Interstate 86 to the Steamburg exit where Connors reportedly lost control.
