¯ KENNEDY — Jason Tober, 44, of Olean was charged with driving while intoxicated. Troopers responded Friday to Ericsson Road in Kennedy for a report of a vehicle off the road, and upon arrival, Tober was observed in a vehicle in the ditch. Tober was taken to police barracks after failing field sobriety tests and provided a breath sample of .09%. He was processed and released to appear in Poland Town Court at a later date.
¯ RANDOLPH — James Wall, 38, of Randolph was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Troopers responded Thursday with Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies for a disturbance on Main Street in Randolph. An investigation found that Wall was in possession of a pipe containing methamphetamine. Wall was processed and released with an appearance ticket to be in Randolph Town Court at a later date.
¯ RANDOLPH — Brett Stearns, 45, of Randolph was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Troopers responded May 28 to a residence in Randolph for a reported domestic dispute. An investigation found that Stearns was in possession of a rifle, which he was prohibited from possessing due to a felony conviction. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket to be in Randolph Town Court later.
