A Jamestown man was charged after police say he injured another person with a golf club Saturday.

Police responded to the area of Baker and Chapman streets around 6:10 p.m. for a reported fight with weapons involved. An investigation found that 29-year-old Matthew D. Williams “attacked a male victim with a golf club, causing physical injury,” JPD said in a press release. Matthew Williams was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Additionally, 71-year-old Roland Williams of Jamestown was found to have punched a female victim in the mouth. He was charged with second-degree harassment.

During the investigation, 34-year-old Samantha Colvin of Jamestown reportedly became disorderly while being taken into custody for unnecessary noise and resisted arrest.

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Stephanie Dellahoy of Jamestown was found to have an active warrant through the Lakewood-Busti Police Department, and when advised of the warrant, she allegedly became disorderly. She was charged with disorderly conduct in addition to being wanted on the warrant.

Christopher Dellahoy, 30, of Cherry Creek, was also found to be wanted on a warrant by the city of Jamestown.

All five were transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

Jamestown police were assisted Saturday by the New York State Police.
