DAYTON -- A 22-year-old male was killed when his car struck a tree Saturday morning,
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office, the unidentified male was eastbound on East Leon Road in a 2015 Chevy Cruz when he lost control on a curve and left the road. The vehicle then struck a tree, causing extensive damage to the car.
The crash occurred around 6:15 a.m.
The male was pronounced dead at the scene, the Sheriff's Office said.
An investigation remains ongoing.
