JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ David C. Hanley, 42, of Jamestown, was charged with resisting arrest. At 8:10 a.m. on Friday, officers observed Hanley walking in the area of Winsor and Chandler Streets. Hanley allegedly had confirmed warrants out of the Town of Ellicott. When officers approached Hanley and advised him he was being placed into custody, he allegedly ran from them. At the same time, officers allegedly advised Hanley to stop running several times. Officers were able to stop Hanley and place him in wrist restraints. Hanley was then taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail without further incident. He is being held pending arraignment.

¯ Skye P. Ryder, 33, of Jamestown, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possesion of stolen property. At 10:21 p.m. on Thursday, officers were patrolling the area of 41 W. Harrision St. During the patrol, one officer observed Ryder in the parking lot of EZ Clean Car Wash with a bicycle that had allegedly been reported stolen earlier in the week. Officers checked the bike’s serial number and it was determined to be stolen. Ryder was transported to the city jail without incident and is being held on an undisclosed amount of bail.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE

¯ SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Andre Roche, 65, was charged with suspected Driving Under The Influence and other traffic violations. The charges stem from a traffic stop made by state troopers at 10:54 a.m. on May 12 at Elk and South Main Streets. Roche is alleged to have been operating the vehicle prior to the stop.
