A Jamestown woman was charged with drunken driving after police say her blood alcohol level was four times over the legal limit.

Officers responded Tuesday at 3:05 a.m. to Kwik Fill at 1617 W. Third St. for a reported suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, officers found 32-year Aislyn G. Carlson sleeping inside the vehicle with the engine running.

An investigation found that Carlson was intoxicated. She was taken into custody and transported to state police barracks for a chemical breath test.

“The test revealed a BAC of just over four times the legal limit,” Jamestown police said.

Carlson was released on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI and unlicensed operator. She is scheduled to appear in Jamestown Court for arraignment at a later date.
