CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ SHERIDAN — Lamont E. Brown, 33, of Fredonia was taken into custody on a warrant for fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies stopped a vehicle Wednesday in the town of Sheridan for a traffic violation. Brown, a passenger in the vehicle, was known to have a valid arrest warrant out of Silver Creek. Brown was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Jaysen G. Santos, 30, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers responded Wednesday at 4:55 p.m. to Dollar Tree for a shoplifting incident. The suspect reportedly fled the store with stolen merchandise. Santos was later identified and found with a large quantity of stolen merchandise. While being taken into custody, he was also allegedly found with heroin. He was held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
¯ SINCLAIRVILLE — Jeffrey Shriver, 39, of Lakewood was charged with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. Kylah Seiberg, 23, of Frewsburg was charged with false personation. Shriver, Seiberg and a teenager were also each charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charges come following a reported stabbing March 27 on Kent Street in Sinclairville. The vehicle involved fled the scene and was stopped on Route 60 in Jamestown. Drug paraphernalia was observed where Seiberg was sitting and the weapon used in the stabbing, methamphetamine and a hypodermic needle were located in the center console. All three were taken into custody. Seiberg provided troopers with a false name during the investigation. Shriver was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail and Seiberg and the teenager were turned over to deputies in regards to the stabbing incident.
