ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ James D. Allison III, 34, was charged criminal mischief. Police picked Allison up March 11 on an arrest warrant after being accused of causing damage to the home where he was staying. Allison was turned over to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

¯ Charles R. Tonkin, 23, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Officers had been investigating a larceny that took place in Celoron on Feb. 20 in which Tonkin allegedly took a credit/debit card without permission. He is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

¯ Ishamel Johnson, 23, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment. Officers responded to an altercation Feb. 28 at Crosby’s located at Route 60. An investigation found that Johnson allegedly tried to start a fight with another person. He was issued a ticket to appear in Ellicott Town Court.

¯ Dylan M. Abbey, 26, of Lakewood was charged with petit larceny. Police were told that a person was acting strange in Wegmans. An investigation found that Abbey was concealing items. He was taken into custody an issued an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.

¯ Caitlin Arnold, 26, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and false personation. Police were notified March 25 that several people were shoplifting inside Wegmans. Arnold allegedly left the store without paying for items and gave officers a false name. She was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment. Arnold also reportedly had two felony warrants from the Sheriff’s Office.

¯ Kayla M. Haines, 18, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded March 21 to a reported criminal mischief complaint in the town of Ellicott. Haines was taken into custody following an investigation. She was issued an appearance ticket and released to the Jamestown Police Department on a similar charge for an incident in the city.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Maurice C. Hough, 37, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Officers stopped a vehicle Tuesday at 3:33 p.m. on Park Street. Hough was a passenger in the vehicle and later found to have warrants through Jamestown City Court. Hough allegedly refused to comply, and when taken into custody he was found with a small amount of methamphetamine. He was held for arraignment.

¯ Amber L. Conrad, 34, of Lakewood was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Conrad was taken into custody Wednesday at 10:10 a.m. for active arrest warrants. After being transported to jail, she was allegedly found with fentanyl. She was being held pending arraignment.
