¯ James D. Cedar Jr., 57, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Officers responded Monday at 7:55 p.m. to the area of Falconer and Winsor streets to assist a citizen who had fallen. The male was identified as Cedar, who was highly intoxicated. While attempting to help Cedar when he began trying to hit an office and then resisted arrest. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

¯ Linda R. Myers, 35, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, open container and no headlights. Officers on Tuesday at 2:50 p.m. observed a red vehicle driving with no headlights near Institute Street. An investigation found that Myers was intoxicated. She was released to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
