CARROLL POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Dennis A. Eklund, 52, of Frewsburg was charged with first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation, DWI, DWI per se, unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle, insufficient brake lights and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Police stopped a vehicle on Water Street on Sunday at 11:37 a.m. for insufficient brake lights. An investigation found that Eklund was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was also found to have a suspended driver’s license. Eklund was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ HANOVER — Theresa A. Drone-Huega, 55, of Silver Creek was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, inadequate or no stop lamps and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies stopped a vehicle Sunday at 4:02 p.m. on Route 5 and 20 for an equipment violation. An investigation found that Drone-Huega was operating her vehicle while intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
¯ NORTH HARMONY — Curtis E. Hewes, 33, of Ashville was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Deputies conducted a warrant check Sunday at a residence on Meadows Road in the town of North Harmony. Inside the residence, deputies located Hewes, who had a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Terrance A. Jackson, 49, of Randolph was charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08 percent or more, operating with registration suspended or revoked, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle Friday at 8:22 p.m. on Winsor and Bush streets. An investigation found that Jackson was intoxicated in addition to allegedly being in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. He was being held for arraignment.
¯ Raymond Shell, 50, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, unlicensed operation, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device, failure to notify DMV of an address change, operation without insurance and operation without appropriate lights. Officers stopped a vehicle Saturday at 9:52 p.m. for driving without headlights on East Fifth Street. An investigation found that Shell was driving on a revoked, non-driver’s ID. He was also allegedly found with crack cocaine and marijuana. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held on bail.
