JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Logan M. Waterman, 36, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers responded to an Anderson Street residence for a reported domestic dispute at around 11:20 a.m. Friday. Officers made contact with a female victim and learned Waterman had allegedly hid inside the residence despite a valid order of protection that had been filed against Waterman by the female. He was located and taken into custody without incident. Waterman was transported to city jail and is being held pending arraignment.

¯ Frank J. Ostrowski, 20, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and first-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded to 28 Hall Ave. for a domestic incident at approximately 10:50 p.m. Thursday. During the investigation, a female victim alleged that she was restrained and held on the floor by Ostrowski, who allegedly placed his knee on the victim’s neck, which caused her to struggle breathing. Officers also learned that there was an order of protection between the female and Ostrowski, which was violated. He was taken into custody and transported to city jail where he was held pending arraignment.
