JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Carolina R. Penhollow, 20, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment. Officers responded at 3 a.m. on Friday to West Second Street for an aggravated harassment complaint. The victim reported receiving unwanted phone calls and text messages from an ex-girlfriend. While speaking to the officers, the victim received over 20 phone calls and 20 text messages from Penhollow. She was taken into custody and held pending arraignment.

¯ Marcus J. Holland, 28, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree felony criminal mischief, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and second-degree harassment. Officers responded Saturday at 6 a.m. to Chapman Street for a reported domestic incident. It was learned that Holland grabbed a female by the hair and attempted to drag her out of the residence, causing hair to be ripped out. Holland also allegedly threw her phone against the wall, causing it to break. Holland was taken into custody and fought with officers as he was being walked to the patrol car. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

¯ Aaron M. Beatty, 25, of Jamestown was charged with DWI per se, aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 percent or greater, open container and unlawful possession of marijuana. Offices responded Sunday at 12:15 a.m. to East Second Street for a person passed out behind the wheel in a parking lot. Beatty reportedly failed several field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.

¯ Emily Diamond, 44, of Jamestown was charged with passing a red light, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent. Police stopped a vehicle Tuesday at 10:19 p.m. at North Main Street and Fluvanna Avenue for passing a red light. Diamond was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody and presented a breath sample that was greater than .18 percent.

CARROLL POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Bradley A. Marfink, 41, of Russell, Pa., was charged with unlicensed operation and moving from lane unsafely. Michael B. Baxter, 34, and Brandy L. Markham, 43, both of Russell, Pa., were each charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police stopped a vehicle Friday at 11:16 p.m. on Water and Lincoln streets for a lane violation. Marfink was found to have a suspended license in Pennsylvania. The two passengers were found in possession of suboxone without a prescription. All were released to appear in Carroll Town Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ BUSTI — Jason G. Helsel, 48, of Lakewood was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content over .18 percent, DWI common law, failure to stop at a stop sign and unlawful possession of marijuana. Helsel was stopped after allegedly committing several traffic violations in Busti on Friday. An investigation determined Helsel was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and released to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

¯ PORTLAND — Paul Dunn III, 36, was charged with three counts of first-degree criminal contempt and violation of probation. Deputies responded to a home on Route 380 for an alleged violation of an order of protection. It was alleged that Dunn entered and remained within a residence, which had three people inside with active orders of protection against him. Dunn was taken into custody when located by deputies. Ten days prior, Dunn was convicted of criminal contempt from a prior incident at the same residence. Due to the conviction, the charge was elevated to a felony. Dunn was also found to have an active probation warrant. He was arraigned and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — James T. Glover, 42, of Mayville was charged with driving while intoxicated, speed not reasonable and failure to keep right. Deputies responded Saturday at 7:25 p.m. to a one-vehicle crash on Chautauqua-Stedman Road. It was learned Glover lost control of his vehicle and struck a telephone pole. Glover suffered an arm injury in the crash, and was determined to be intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

¯ ELLICOTT — Rachel A. Olson, 38, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, DWI with a BAC of .08 percent or greater and no/inadequate headlights. Deputies stopped a vehicle for having less than two functioning headlights. Olson was determined to be intoxicated following an investigation. She was processed and released with tickets to appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ FREWSBURG — Richard Whisner, 50, of Frewsburg was driving while intoxicated. Troopers with Carroll police responded Saturday to Austin Hill Road for a two-car crash. An investigation found that Whisner was westbound on the road when he struck an unoccupied vehicle, causing extensive damage to both. Whisner allegedly fled the scene, but was located by troopers and taken into custody. Whisner refused a breath test when taken to police barracks. He was processed and released to appear in Carroll Town Court next month.
