CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ POMFRET — Andrea Tarnowski, 60, of Fredonia was charged with driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to yield the right of way. Deputies came across a two-vehicle property damage accident around 11:19 p.m. on Monday in Pomfret. An investigation found that Tarnowski was stopped at a stop sign on Straight Road at Route 60. Tarnowski then reportedly entered Route 60, striking a vehicle traveling southbound on Route 60. Further investigation determined that Tarnowski was intoxicated and had her license suspended for a prior impaired driving incident. She was taken into custody and released with tickets to appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.
¯ WESTFIELD — Angela M. Garigal, 41, of Fredonia was charged with failure to keep right, driving across hazard markings, moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated and DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. Deputies stopped a vehicle Friday at 10:20 p.m. on Route 20 in Westfield. Garigal was found to be operating while intoxicated. Garigal is scheduled to appear in Westfield Town Court at a later date.

¯ Marcus Rojas, 18, of Jamestown was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Officers noticed a suspicious vehicle parked with its lights off in a village park Tuesday at 12:10 a.m. During a search of the vehicle, officers found more than 50 grams of marijuana. Rojas was identified as the driver.
