JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Noel L. Luciano, 38, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers responded to an address on Pine Street on Tuesday at 11 p.m. for an unwanted female. Luciano was found lying in a bed under the influence of an unknown substance. She was transported to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment. Luciano was later found in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine and a suboxone strip. Luciano was transported to Jamestown City Jail after being released from the hospital and taken into custody on the charges as well as having six active bench warrants.

¯ Jesus Rodriguez-Marrero, 43, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded to Terrace Place for a reported domestic dispute Tuesday at 4:23 p.m. It was learned that Rodriguez-Marrero and a female engaged in a verbal argument. Rodriguez-Marrero allegedly then struck the woman with two children under the age of 17 present. He was taken into custody and transported to city jail without incident.

¯ Nilo A. Pena-Delgado, 31, of Dunkirk was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Officers were advised Tuesday at 3:41 p.m. that a sheriff’s deputy was following a stolen motor vehicle that was being driving southbound on Route 60 and entering the city. Deputies stopped the vehicle on West 13th Street near North Main Street. Pena-Delgado was identified as the driver and was transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was held pending arraignment.

¯ Michael A. Weathers, 50, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers responded at 1:42 a.m. on Monday to a Washington Street address for a domestic dispute. Police could hear Weathers and a woman arguing inside the home when they arrived. An investigation found there was a stay away order of protection from Jamestown City Court for Weathers to stay away from the woman. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ KENNEDY — Mark Maio, 34, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana. Troopers stopped Maio on Wednesday for a traffic violation. While speaking to him, troopers reported smelling marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search turned up a bag containing 8 grams of marijuana. A check of his license found that his non-driver identification had been suspended six times. Maio was issued an appearance ticket to be in Poland Town Court at a later date.
