JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Ronald C. Harmon, 37, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded Friday to an East Fourth Street home for a reported domestic dispute. An investigation found that Harmon allegedly assaulted a female in the presence of a child. Harmon was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was being held for arraignment on the charges.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ FREWSBURG — Victoria Miller, 28, of Jamestown was charged with three counts of second-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree stalking. Miller was taken into custody Saturday during a warrant check on Bragg Road in Frewsburg. She was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ DUNKIRK — Edwin A. Reyes, 33, of Dunkirk was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater, moving from lane unsafely and being an unlicensed operator. Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Rt. 5 at approximately 12:32 a.m. Sunday. Deputies identified Reyes and found him to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and released with traffic tickets. Reyes will appear in Dunkirk Town Court at a later date.

¯ HANOVER — Thomas M. Pelz, 66, of Forestville was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, moving from lane unsafely and failing to keep right. Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Dennison Road at approximately 9:33 p.m. Sunday. Pelz was identified, discovered to be intoxicated and taken into custody. He was released with traffic tickets and will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ OLEAN — Margaret M. Goodemote, 59, of Olean was charged with driving while intoxicated. Olean troopers observed Goodemote operating her vehicle on West State St. without using her headlights. She exhibited signs of intoxication during a subsequent traffic stop. Goodemote failed sobriety tests and was arrested. Her breath test revealed her to have a .016 percent blood alcohol content. Goodemote was issued appearance tickets for Olean City Court and will return at a later date.

¯ Stephen Meyers, 24, of Cassadaga was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. After Jamestown troopers pulled Meyers over on I-86 for speeding, a smell of marijuana was discovered Friday. A search of Meyers and his vehicle revealed a smoking device containing marijuana residue. He was issued an appearance ticket and a speeding ticket and is scheduled to appear in Randolph Town Court at a later date.
