JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Victor J. Cameron, 43, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer, resisting arrest, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Officers attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of South Main Street and Kidder Street. When police activated their emergency lights, the vehicle fled the scene at an unsafe speed while committing numerous traffic violation. The vehicle was finally stopped on Collins Avenue. Cameron was identified as the driver and initially resisted arrest, but was eventually taken into custody. He was found to be impaired by drugs, had a suspended license and was found in possession of marijuana and several types of pills. Cameron was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

¯ Bryan E. Holsinger, 43, of Ashville, was charged with driving the wrong way on a one-way street, driving while intoxicated, and aggravted DWI Friday at 2:54 a.m. According to police, officers observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on East Fifth Street bewteen Prendergast Avenue and North Main Street. The vehicle was stopped and upon further investigation, it was found that Holsinger allegedly failed field sobriety tests. He was taken to city jail, and later released to a sober person. Holsinger will be in Jamestown City Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ Victoria Miller, 28, of Jamestown, was charged Friday with three counts of second-degree criminal contempt, and fourth-degree stalking. At about 1:35 p.m., deputies conducted a warrant check on Bragg Road, in the town of Carroll. According to deputies, Miller was found in a residence and was arraigned in Stockton Town Court. She was taken to Chautauqua County Jail.
