¯ FRENCH CREEK — Craig L. Michael, 57, of Clymer was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely and refusal to pre-screen breath test. Deputies observed a vehicle make several lane violations on Brownell Road in French Creek on Sunday at 12:15 a.m. Michael is scheduled to answer the charges later in French Creek Town Court.

¯ SILVER CREEK — Mark E. Welka II, 20, of Orchard Park was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speed in zone. Deputies at 11:46 p.m. on Monday observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the village of Silver Creek. Welka will answer the charges in Silver Creek Village Court later.
