CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MAYVILLE — Charles G Wilson, 46, of Cassadaga was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Deputies stopped Wilson at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday in Mayville for having inadequate, loud exhaust. During the stopped, K-9 Drake located about 60 grams of marijuana. Wilson was issued an appearance to be in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Scott E. McChesney, 28, of Panama was charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny. Deputies investigated a burglary that took place in April on Lyons Road in Chautauqua. It was later found that McChesney allegedly broke into a home without permission and stole numerous items. A warrant was issued and McChesney was taken into custody. He was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court and committed to jail without bail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Patricia A. Manning, 33, of Allegheny was charged with petit larceny, third-degree burglary and endangering the welfare of a child. Police reported that Manning stole $134.08 in merchandise from Walmart at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. It was found she was banned from Walmart and also had warrants from the Olean Police Department. Manning was committed to the county jail and is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

¯ Joshua S. Danielson, 37, of Bemus Point was charged Thursday with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At about 9:55 p.m. police responded to Walmart for a larceny in progress. Danielson was located as he allegedly attempted to leave the store with a cart full of merchandise totaling $456.98. He was released with an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

DEPARTMENT

¯ Chad M. Raymond, 39, of Jamestown was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Officers responded to a Franklin Street home Aug. 30 for a dispute over stolen property. Officers learned Raymond was in possession of another person’s cellphone that had been stolen. He was arraigned in Jamestown City Court on the charges.
