CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ SUNSET BAY — Nicholas L. Bowman, 26, of West Seneca was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies were called at 2:45 p.m. on Monday to a complaint of a disorderly person in the parking area of the Sunset Bay Beach Club. Upon arrival, deputies observed Bowman in a verbal altercation with a staff members and a woman. Bowman was found to be in violation of an active order of protection against him and in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was issued appearance tickets to be in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

¯ STOCKTON — Joseph P. Nowaczyk, 27, of Hamburg was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater, DWI and speed in zone. Deputies observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed on Route 380 in the town of Stockton. Nowaczyk was taken into custody following an investigation. He is scheduled to appear in Stockton Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Stephen P. Glover, no age given, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, improper plates, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers spotted Glover operating a vehicle with switched plates though he was known to have multiple suspensions on his license. When attempting to make a traffic stop, Glover reportedly ran into the ravine at Allen Park and hid in the bushes. He quickly surrendered and was taken into custody. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
