Area Police Reports

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ STOCKTON — Ingrid E. Collins, 41, of Stockton was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. At about 10:40 p.m., deputies were called to a Stockton residence where it was found that Collins allegedly threw a ceramic plate at another individual. The plate missed its target and smashed against a wall. The plate was not her property, and she had no right to break it, deputies reported. Collins was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 cash or $2,000 property.

¯ POMFRET — Andrew Mergenhagen, 20, of Buffalo was charged Saturday with felony DWI-previous conviction within 10 years, operating without an ignition interlock device, speed in zone and refusal of pre-screen breath test. At about 4:55 a.m. deputies observed a speeding vehicle on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret. Once the vehicle was stopped, deputies investigated and arrested Mergenhagen. He was processed and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
