JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Tre L. Frank, 22, of Jamestown was charged on July 26 with third-degree assault. At 2:21 p.m., police responded to 340 Allen St. for a reported fight. Upon arrival, police located a victim who had been injured. They also located and apprehended Frank a short distance away in a vehicle. Frank was taken to the Jamestown City Holding Facility to await arraignment.

¯ Lance J. Knowles, 37, of Jamestown was charged on July 26 with third-degree assault. At 7:40 a.m., police responded to 522 W. Sixth St. for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police spoke with a female victim who alleged that her boyfriend, Knowles, pushed her into a wall and caused her to fall to the ground. Knowles allegedly kicked her in the face as well. Knowles was located a short distance away and taken to city jail without incident.

¯ Peggysue Reese Goldsmith, 31, of Jamestown was charged on July 31 with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, unncessary noise, failure to signal turn and driver’s view obstructed. At 9:20 p.m., police pulled over Goldsmith in the area of McKinley Avenue and Park Street for several vehicle and traffic violations. It is alleged that she was in possession of marijuana. She was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

¯ Dominique ZM Barr, 18, of Jamestown was charged on Aug. 1 wit fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. At 8:52 p.m., police responded to a Wilson Place address for a reported fight. It is alleged that Barr damaged the property of another during a physical domestic dispute. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Gordon J. Kennelley, 57, of Falconer was charged on July 27 with second-degree harassment and trespass. At 3:45 p.m., police responded to a fight in Falconer. Kennelley was charged and scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court on Aug. 16 at 6 p.m.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Krystle A. Hafner, 32, of Dunkirk was charged on July 25 with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. At 8:10 p.m., Hafner was charged after allegedly stealing a purse and a variety of cosmetics from the Lakewood Wal-Mart with the help of her daughter. She was given appearance tickets for Busti Court.
