JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Rory S. Davis Jr., 29, of Jamestown was charged on July 25 with felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to keep right. At 1:05 a.m., police pulled over Davis for reportedly traveling in the wrong lane on Forest Avenue. It is alleged that Davis was intoxicated and had a previous DWI conviction. Davis was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

¯ John Servin, 56, of California was charged on July 24 with DWI, aggravated DWI, no headlights, no tail lights and failure to keep right. At 12:52 a.m., police pulled over Servin on North Main Street for reportedly driving in the middle of the road with no headlights or tail lights. It is alleged that Servin was intoxicated. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

¯ Frank J. Ostrowski, 18, was charged on July 22 with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 9:45 p.m., police responded to a Hall Avenue address for a reported domestic dispute. Officers spoke with a female victim who alleged that Ostrowski pushed her to the ground, prevented her from getting up and punched her in the face. She also alleged that he took her cellphone while she was trying to call for help. Ostrowski was located in the apartment and taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

¯ Robert R. Nordin, 52, of Gerry was charged on July 23 with DWI, aggravated DWI and no signal. At 2:23 a.m., police pulled over Nordin after he allegedly failed to signal a turn from East Second Street to East Fourth Street. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

¯ Katie R. Ross, 27, of Jamestown was charged on July 22 with false personation and fugitive from justice. At 11 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle on West Harrison Street for a loud muffler. It is alleged that the front seat passenger, Ross, had an active bench warrant out of McKean County, Pa., and gave police a false name and date of birth. She was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

¯ Carlos Castellano, 48, of Jamestown was charged on July 22 with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At 12:01 a.m., police responded to 401 W. Seventh St. for a violent physical domestic. Upon arrival, officers located a female victim with a non-life-threatening stab wound to the arm. It is alleged that Castellano stabbed the victim after a brief argument. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

¯ Hector L. Cameron, 34, of Jamestown was charged on July 21 with operating out of class, unnecessary noise and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 9:17 p.m., police pulled over Cameron who was allegedly driving a motorcycle without a license in the area of Crescent and Kipp streets. Cameron allegedly became disorderly with officers, causing several neighbors to come outside and witness the commotion. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

¯ James A. Chapman, 36, of Jamestown was charged on July 20 with discharging a compressed air gun within city limits. At 11:55 p.m., police responded to the area of Barrows and Willard streets for a reported male shooting a BB gun. It is alleged that Chapman had recently purchased three compressed air guns and was seeing if they worked properly. He was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Steven J. Andrews, 52, of Brocton was charged on July 17 with driving while under the influence of drugs, possession of hypodermic instrument, no vehicle inspection and following too close. At 1:46 p.m., police responded to a vehicle accident on East Main and Pearl streets in Westfield. It is alleged that Andrews was driving while under the influence of drugs and suffered an overdose, causing him to strike another vehicle at the intersection of East Main and Academy streets. Andrews was taken to Westfield Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was later taken to Erie, Pa. On July 24, Andrews was issued tickets to appear in Westfield Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Angelo L. Pollino, 29, and Colleen R. Sylka, 23, both of Lakewood, were charged on July 20 with cruelty to animals. At 2:26 p.m., police responded to 30 Lakeview Ave. for an animal complaint. Upon arrival, police located two dogs that were tied together and stuck in a wooded area. The dogs were returned home, where officers found inadequate living conditions for the animals. Pollino and Sylka claimed ownership of the animals and were issued tickets to Busti Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Isiah W. Payne, 19, was charged on July 24 with disorderly conduct. At 1:45 a.m., police responded to a large crowd being disorderly at 2803 Route 60. Payne was allegedly being disorderly and was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court on Aug. 9 at 6 p.m.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ POLAND — Nicholas A. Taylor, 32, of Falconer was charged on July 24 with endangering the welfare of a child. At 12:12 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence on Quaint Road in Poland. It is alleged that Taylor struck a 6-year-old girl. Taylor was scheduled to appear in Poland Court at a later date.

¯ FREWSBURG — Rodney Townsel, 34, of Frewsburg was charged on July 24 with endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. At 4:58 p.m., deputies responded to an address in Carroll for a report of an altercation between two individuals. Townsel was apprehended and arraigned in Kiantone Court.

¯ BUSTI — Raymond D. Yoder, 19, of Mayport, Pa., was charged on July 15 with leaving the scene of a navigation property damage accident without reporting. Yoder was operating a rental motor boat when he allegedly backed into a moored vessel off Loomis Bay Road in Busti. Yoder reportedly looked at the damage and left the scene. He was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

¯ STOCKTON — Lindsay M. Plymel, 34, of Bemus Point was charged on July 23 with failure to keep right, DWI, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 7:23 p.m., deputies pulled over Plymel on Ellery Centralia Road in Stockton for an observed traffic infraction. It is alleged that she was intoxicated. She was given appearance tickets for Stockton Court.

¯ FREWSBURG — Brian T. Jones, 32, of Frewsburg was charged on July 20 with second-degree harassment. At 5:19 p.m., deputies responded to an address in Carroll for a reported altercation between two individuals. Jones was charged with harassment and issued appearance tickets for Carroll Court.
