Two Charged After Meth, Cocaine Found In Barrett Avenue Raid

Two city residents were charged Tuesday after police reportedly found a slew of narcotics inside a Barrett Avenue home.
The raid occurred shortly before 2 p.m., when investigators with the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and New York State Police CNET executed a search warrant at 90 1/2 Barrett Ave.
Inside, police located Courtney A. Lucas, 23, and 22-year-old Jonathan D. Wright, along with a quantity of methamphetamine, cocaine and prescription pills.
Both Lucas and Wright were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. They were arraigned and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.
Police said the investigation is continuing and more charges are expected.

The Jamestown Police Department SWAT team, and K-9 units from both the Jamestown police and New York State Police, assisted in Tuesday’s raid.
