Area Police Reports
JAMESTOWN POLICE
¯Linda A. Weaver, 70, of Jamestown was charged on June 16 with following too closely, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 10:22 p.m., members of the Jamestown Police Department and New York State Police working a Targeted Enforcement Patrol responded to the area of Washington and South Main streets for a property damage accident. It is alleged that one of the drivers, Weaver, was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
¯Albasheer Faraj, 27, of Jamestown was charged on June 17 with third-degree assault. At 10:30 p.m., police responded to 9 Cross St. for a reported fight. It is alleged that Faraj struck and injured someone in the head. The victim was taken to UPMC Chautauqua WCA for treatment by Jamestown Fire. Faraj turned himself into police.
¯Anthony Regner, 20, of Jamestown was charged on June 15 with second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At 5:45 p.m., police responded to report of a person with a weapon. It is alleged that Regner possessed an imitation pistol and threatened to kill another man with it. Regner was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯Quinncey L. King of Jamestown was charged on June 15 with theft of services. At 12:50 p.m., police observed King, who was reportedly wanted on an outstanding warrant, in a vehicle in the area of Royal and McDaniel avenues. King was allegedly wanted for meter tampering that allowed him to steal electricity from the Jamestown BPU. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯Joseph M. Lyszaz, 33, of Ashville was charged on June 12 with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal within 100 feet. At 3:18 a.m., police pulled over Lyszaz for reportedly failing to signal properly while turning onto Harrison Street from Barrett Avenue. It is alleged that Lyszaz had suspended driving privileges and possessed a bundle of hypodermic instruments. He was taken to city jail.
¯Makayla E. McBride, 21, of Jamestown was charged on May 18 with second-degree criminal contempt. At 2:16 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle for an improper turn onto West Second Street. It is alleged that a passenger, McBride, had a valid order of protection to stay away from the driver. McBride was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE
¯Cody A. Boisvert, 18, of Jamestown was charged on June 10 with petit larceny. At 3:30 p.m., Boisvert was charged after allegedly stealing clothing and dental products, valued at $25.26, from the Lakewood Walmart. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
¯Margarita Morales, 28, of Jamestown was charged on May 17 with third-degree burglary, petit larceny, criminal possession of hypodermic needles and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 10:53 p.m., Morales allegedly entered the Lakewood Walmart and stole several items valued at $161.70. Morales reportedly had a written trespass warning to stay off of Walmart property, making the incident a burglary. It is also alleged that Morales had several hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia. All stolen items were recovered, but were considered damaged due to possible drug residue all over them. Morales was committed to the county jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 property bond.
¯Page M. Hankins, 27, of Jamestown was charged on June 10 with DWI and failure to keep right. At 5:08 a.m., police responded to a vehicle rollover on Forest Avenue Extension near Mitchell Road in Busti. The driver, Hankins, was taken to UPMC Chautauqua WCA for minor injuries. It is alleged that she was intoxicated. She was given an appearance ticket to Busti Court.
ELLICOTT POLICE
¯Jonathan M. Myers, 25, of Falconer was charged on June 16 with third-degree menacing. At 12:45 a.m., police responded to a reported domestic incident at 29 E. Main St. in Falconer. It is alleged that Myers pointed a knife at a female victim. Myers was arraigned in Ellicott Court and was released with a new court date.
¯Justin A. Gustafson, 31, of Celoron was charged on June 16 with second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal contempt. It is alleged that Gustafson struck a female victim over the head during a dispute at 71 Boulevard Ave. in Celoron. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
¯Cody Lange, 19, of Jamestown was charged on June 17 with second-degree harassment. At 1:30 a.m., police responded to a fight at the McDonalds on North Main Street in Ellicott. It is alleged that Lange struck another person in the face during an altercation. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
¯Jovian Maisonet, 18; Tyler Coulter, 19; and a 15-year-old male, all from Jamestown, were charged on June 18 with second-degree criminal trespass. At 5:30 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Howard Avenue in West Ellicott. It is alleged that the three defendants entered a residence without permission. All three were given appearance tickets for Ellicott Court.
¯Aliz R. Lopez, 33, of Jamestown was charged on June 18 with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 6:30 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute at 995 Fairmount Ave., where Lopez was charged for criminal mischief. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯FREWSBURG–Jessica R. Johnson, 34, of Erie, Pa., was charged on June 18 with failure to signal, DWI and DWI per se. At 1:01 a.m., deputies pulled over Johnson on Falconer Street in Frewsburg for reportedly failing to signal a turn. It is alleged that Johnson was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Carroll Court at a later date.
¯FREWSBURG–Arissa M. Hitchcock, 28, of Randolph was charged on June 17 with failure to keep right, inadequate tail lamps, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, DWI and DWI per se. At 12:48 a.m., deputies pulled over Hitchcock for traffic violations on Main Street in Frewsburg. It is alleged that Hitchcock was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Carroll Court at a later date.
¯GERRY–Robert J. Tyler, 36, of Cassadaga was charged on June 16 with second-degree harassment. At 4:58 p.m., deputies responded to an address in Gerry for a reported altercation between two individuals. Tyler was charged with harassment and scheduled to appear in Gerry Court at a later date.
¯SILVER CREEK–Steven L. Jones, 51, was charged on June 16 with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass. At 12:24 a.m., deputies responded to an incident on Arch Street in Silver Creek. It is alleged that Jones had trespassed on a property which caused an altercation. During the altercation, Jones reportedly damaged property. He was scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.
¯CHAUTAUQUA–Collin P.F. Buszaka, 23, of Lancaster was charged on June 15 with DWI, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, failure to keep right and failure to dim head lights. At 12:27 a.m., deputies pulled over Buszaka on Route 430 in Chautauqua for multiple traffic infractions. It is alleged that Buszaka was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.
¯SHERMAN–Emily J. Walker, 24, of Sherman was charged on June 14 with two counts of bad check. At 12:30 p.m., deputies took a report of a person writing bad checks to the Sherman General Store. It is alleged that Walker issued two bad check to the store in April. She was scheduled to appear in Sherman Court at a later date.
¯GERRY–William R. Tilyou, 27, of Dunkirk was charged on June 10 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, false personation and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 4:30 a.m., deputies received a report of a suspicious person at a residence on Salisbury Road in Gerry. The person, Tilyou, allegedly gave police a false name at first. Tilyou had an outstanding warrant for third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. He was remanded to the county jail with no bail.
¯STOCKTON–Jason R. Evans, 41, of Stockton was charged on June 13 with third-degree assault. At 4:40 p.m., deputies responded to a reported assault on Route 380 in Stockton. It is alleged that Evans assaulted a victim at that address. The victim required medical treatment at an area hospital. Evans was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 property bond.
