Three Charged In Euclid Avenue Meth Bust

A quantity of methamphetamine — and a 1-month-old child — were reportedly found inside a Euclid Avenue home Wednesday. Three residents have been charged.

At 9:30 a.m., members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 130 Euclid Ave., with the assistance of the Jamestown Police Department’s SWAT Team.

Inside, police found 39-year-old Steven Kent and 43-year-old Ashley Burkes, both of Jamestown, along with James Williamson. Also inside, police reportedly found a quantity of methamphetamine and a 1-month-old child.

Kent and Burkes were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Burke was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child

Williamson was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

All three were committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.

The child was turned over to Child Protective Services.
