Raid Of Dunkirk Crack House Yields 118 Grams Of Crack Cocaine
A Dunkirk crack house fell prey to a massive drug raid Friday, garnering more than 100 grams of crack cocaine.
According to the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, the residence at 51 E. Second St. in Dunkirk was the subject of a seven-month-long investigation and believed to be a hotbed for crack cocaine sales.
Multiple arrest warrants were issued out of Dunkirk City Court for individuals reportedly using the residence to store and sell crack cocaine.
On Friday, at 9:45 a.m., members of the task force, Dunkirk Police Department and the department’s Special Response Team executed a search warrant and seized 118.5 grams of crack cocaine and $171,297 in U.S. currency inside.
Police also apprehended Dunkirk residents, Minerva Maestre, 47; Hector A. Mercado Torres, 23; and Angelica Cullinan, 18; and a 17-year-old male.
Pedro A. Corraliza Jr., 24, of Dunkirk, was also apprehended after arriving at the scene during the search.
Maestre and the 17-year-old male were both charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Torres and Cullinan were both charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Corraliza was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
All were remanded to Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
Police are still attempting to locate Jason Rosas Rodriguez, 32, and Cristian Maestre, 27, on outstanding Dunkirk City Court arrest warrants, charging each with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Anyone with knowledge of their whereabouts is asked to call authorities.
