CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WESTFIELD – Ryan M. Deland, 23, of Westfield was charged with speed not reasonable and prudent, moving from lane unsafely, DWI and DWI per se. On Saturday, at 10:51 p.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on Pratt Road in Westfield. The driver, Deland, was allegedly speeding and failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a ditch. Further investigation found Deland was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA – David M. Latimer, 45, of Mayville was charged with failure to dim lights, DWI and DWI per se. On Saturday, at 12:30 a.m., deputies pulled over Latimer for allegedly failing to dim headlights on Centralia-Hartfield Road in Chautauqua. Latimer was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Evaristo E. Santiago-Padilla, 52, of Erie, Pa., was charged with speed in zone, DWI, consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle and resisting arrest. On Saturday, at 10 p.m., deputies pulled over Santiago-Padilla for allegedly speeding on Central Avenue in Silver Creek. Santiago-Padilla was allegedly intoxicated. It is further alleged that Santiago-Padilla pulled away from deputies while being taken into custody. He was arraigned in Silver Creek Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $1,500 property bond.

CHARLOTTE – Travis R. Terry, 25, of Jamestown was charged with felony criminal possession of a firearm and felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. On Saturday, at 8:56 p.m., deputies pulled over Terry for allegedly committing several traffic violations on Route 60 in Charlotte. It is alleged that Terry had a loaded 9mm pistol without a pistol permit in New York state or any other state. The pistol?s serial number had allegedly been defaced, which resulted in another charge. Terry was arraigned in the Town of Charlotte and held on bail in the county jail.

GERRY – Andre J. Biekert, 47, of Jamestown was charged with moving from lane unsafely, unlicensed operation, failure to notify DMV of address change, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Saturday, at 4 p.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Route 380 in Gerry. Upon arrival, deputies located Biekert and determined that he allegedly went off the west shoulder of the road for no apparent reason. Biekert was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance. He was scheduled to appear in Gerry Court at a later date.

SINCLAIRVILLE – Ivory A. Fishgold, 33, of Sinclairville was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. On Friday, at 11 p.m., deputies responded to a dispute on Jamestown Street in Sinclairville. It is alleged that Fishgold broke the side window of a vehicle belonging to another individual during an altercation. The amount of damage is estimated to be $250. Fishgold was arraigned in Charlotte Court and remanded to the county jail.

WESTFIELD – Andrew M. Lindstrom, 23, of Westfield was charged with second-degree burglary, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. On Friday, at 2:30 p.m., deputies responded to a Third Street residence in Westfield that Lindstrom allegedly entered without the owner’s permission. Lindstrom allegedly removed property from the residence. He was arraigned in Ripley Court and committed to the county jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 property bond.

SILVER CREEK – Traci L. Czaska, 25, of Brant was charged with shoplifting/petit larceny. On Aug. 17, at 8:42 p.m., deputies responded to the Dollar General store, located at 1360 Route 5 in Silver Creek, for a reported shoplifting in progress. Czaska was charged and scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Christine L. Veith, 61, of Buffalo was charged with DWI, DWI per se and moving from lane unsafely. On Aug. 14, at 10:07 p.m., deputies pulled over Veith after allegedly committing a lane violation on Route 5 and 20 in Hanover. It is alleged that Veith was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

FRENCH CREEK – Andrew P. Cooper, 27, of French Creek was charged with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more, unlicensed operator, moving from lane unsafely and no seatbelt. On Aug. 14, at 9:40 p.m., deputies responded to French Creek-Mina Road for reports of a vehicle striking a telephone police. It is alleged that the driver – Cooper – was intoxicated when he lost control of his vehicle. He was scheduled to appear in French Creek Court.

ELLICOTT – Kane C. Kolstee, 44, of Jamestown was charged with felony DWI and aggravated DWI. On Aug. 15, at 2:30 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle stopped on the side of Hunt Road in Ellicott. The driver was allegedly leaning out of the vehicle and vomiting on the road. It is alleged that the driver – Kolstee – was intoxicated. Kolstee allegedly had a prior DWI conviction in the past 10 years. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Joseph Kinney, 33, of Jamestown was charged with DWI. On Aug. 17, police pulled over Kinney for allegedly failing to dim his high beams on Old Warren Road in Frewsburg. Kinney was allegedly intoxicated with a BAC of .15. He was scheduled to appear in Carroll Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Stephen T. Griffin, 37, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Walter A. Wanamaker, 54, of Jamestown was charged with felony first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated Family Offense. On Monday, at 8:41 a.m., police responded to 107 McKinley Ave. to serve felony warrants on Griffin, who was reportedly wanted for the above charges. While on location, officers located Wanamaker, who was allegedly in the presence of a female victim who had a valid order of protection against him. Wanamaker also reportedly had a previous criminal contempt conviction. Both Griffin and Wanamaker were taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

David A. Bemis, 47, of Jamestown was charged with speed in zone, unlicensed operator, felony driving while intoxicated, felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol concentration of .18 percent or more. On Monday, at 7:07 p.m., police pulled over Bemis who was allegedly speeding on East Second Street. Investigation revealed that Bemis allegedly had a revoked driver’s license due to 27 suspensions/revocations. He was also allegedly intoxicated. Bemis allegedly had a prior DWI conviction in the past 10 years, making this a felony. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Lynn A. Lee was recently charged after an investigation revealed that she allegedly did damage to the building of a Falconer business. She was given an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 16-year-old male has been charged with third-degree assault following an incident that occurred at the Gustavus Adolphus Home, 200 Gustavus Ave., Saturday. At approximately 12:58 p.m., officers responded to the G.A. Home for a reported past tense assault that occurred in the home. Upon investigation, it was found that an altercation had occurred at around 12:10 p.m. between a 16-year-old male resident and staff. The 16-year-old male had allegedly kicked a staff member several times about the face and body, causing physical injury to the staff member. The 16-year-old male was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.

Edil Gonzales-Rosas, 38, of Harrisburg, Pa., was charged Friday with fugitive from justice and traffic infractions. At 5 p.m., officers observed a vehicle with an expired registration on North Main Street near East Second Street. Officers stopped the vehicle for the traffic infraction and spoke with the operator, Gonzales-Rosas. Upon further investigation, Rosas was wanted out of the state of Pennsylvania for a parole violation. Officers took Rosas into custody without incident and transported him to city jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

BUSTI – Victorian Doucette, 24, of Lakewood, was charged Saturday with speeding in zone and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 2:38 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Hunt Road and stopped the vehicle. After further investigation, a small amount of marijuana was found inside the vehicle. The operator, Doucette, was charged and will appear in Busti Town Court on Sept. 6.

BUSTI – Monica M. Warren, 40, and Sabrina M. Flores, 16, both of Jamestown, were charged Saturday with petit larceny. At 7:08 p.m., the two women were taken into custody by police at Wal-Mart in Lakewood. It is alleged that they stole several general merchandise items valued at $212.20. The women were issued appearance tickets and released. They are scheduled to appear in-person at Busti Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Richard L. Taylor, 39, of Frewsburg was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and second-degree criminal contempt. On Wednesday, at 9:53 p.m., police attempted to serve an arrest warrant at 129 Crestline Drive when they allegedly observed Taylor flee from the residence through a back door. Taylor reportedly led police on a foot pursuit despite being told to stop. He was apprehended shortly afterward and allegedly found to be violating an order of protection. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Derae L. Luce, 46, of Jamestown was charged with failure to stop at stop sign and driving while intoxicated. On Thursday, at 11:41 p.m., police observed a driver allegedly fail to stop at a stop sign in the area of West 13th Street and North Main Street. It is alleged that the driver – Luce – was intoxicated. He was taken to the city jail without incident.

John R. Karish Jr., of Jamestown, was charged with resisting arrest and seven outstanding warrants. Wendy J. Karish, of Jamestown, was charged with resisting arrest. On Friday, at 10:33 a.m., police observed John R. Karish, who reportedly had seven outstanding warrants from the Jamestown Police Department, walk into a garage at 873 Lafayette St. Wendy J. Karish allegedly prevented officers from entering the doorway of the garage. Both were taken to the city jail without incident.

Ebony J. Elam, 21, of Mayville was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal contempt. On Aug. 9, at 11:12 p.m., police responded to 46 Wescott St. for a criminal mischief complaint. Police were advised that a female, later identified as Elam, had allegedly damaged a vehicle parked outside the residence. It was also alleged that a valid order of protection required Elam to stay away from the residence. Officers located Elam a short distance away and transported her to the city jail.

Milton Galarza Jr., 41, of Hazleton, Pa., along with Roberto Rosario, 47, of Jamestown, and a 17-year-old male were charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. On Saturday, at 10:14 p.m., police pulled over a driver on Winsor Street near Scott Street for allegedly speeding. A registration check showed the vehicle was reportedly stolen from Hazleton, Pa. on Aug. 6. The driver – Galarza – along with Rosario and a 17-year-old male were charged. Galarza was additionally charged with speeding and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. All three were taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Natasha M. Eccles, 35, of Randolph was charged with petit larceny. On Thursday, at 4:30 p.m., Eccles was charged after allegedly stealing items from the Lakewood Wal-Mart on July 20. She was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Rachelle N. Allison, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. On July 31, at 8:30 p.m., police responded to a physical harassment complaint at 2 Williams St. in Falconer. It is alleged that Allison pushed a victim who was holding onto her 3-year-old son. Allison reportedly turned herself into police.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SHERIDAN-Duane S. Nickerson, 43, of Fredonia was charged with no tail lamps, DWI and DWI with blood alcohol concentration of .08 percent or more. On Sunday, at 1:14 a.m., deputies pulled over Nickerson for allegedly driving without any tail lamps on Route 20 in Sheridan. It is alleged that Nickerson was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Sheridan Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Vildan Lazar, 32, of Rockway, and P.V. Petit Claire, 28, of Cambria Heights, were both charged with petit larceny, third-degree criminal trespass, three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Saturday, at 12:25 p.m., deputies responded to Webbs Hotel, located at 115 W. Lake Road in Mayville, for an earlier larceny of a TV set and computer system in the hotel lobby. It is alleged that the two defendants were responsible for the larceny and were later found in possession of a quantity of controlled substances. The stolen items were recovered. Both subjects were committed to the county jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. An investigation is continuing.

MAYVILLE-Douglas Bush Jr., 47, of Mayville was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment. On Wednesday, at 5:28 p.m., deputies received a complaint of a disorderly male at a residence on Centralia Hartfielf Road in Chautauqua. It is alleged that Bush prevented a victim from leaving the residence during an argument. The victim reportedly made several attempts to leave. Bush was arraigned and committed to the county jail in lieu of $500 cash bail.

Barbara L. Lobb, 27, of Busti was charged with third-degree welfare fraud, third-degree grand larceny, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps over $3,000. On Wednesday, at 10 a.m., Lobb was charged for the above charges. It is alleged that from Feb. 1, 2015 through Oct. 31, 2015, Lobb failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services that she was receiving income from two different sources. Lobb allegedly claimed that she and another individual living with her had no household income on her application for assistance. These unreported issues reportedly allowed Lobb to receive $3,800 in unentitled benefits. She was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

ELLERY-Gregory D. Albert, 25, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, DWI and DWI per se. On July 23, at 2:22 a.m., deputies pulled over ALbert for allegedly crossing his vehicle over the center line of Route 430 in Ellery. It is alleged that Albert was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

DUNKIRK-David Pacos, 68, of Forestville was charged with DWI and DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more. On Aug. 8, at 10:53 p.m., deputies checked a suspicious vehicle near a business on South Roberts Road in Dunkirk. It is alleged that the driver – Pacos – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Dunkirk City Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-David L. McLaughlin II, 47, of Mayville was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. On Aug. 3, at 7:44 p.m., deputies responded to a 19 Barton St. residence for a reported physical altercation. It is alleged that McLaughlin was intoxicated and engaging in verbal and physical altercations with several subjects at the residence. It is further alleged that he became upset and pushed a female holding a 3-month-old baby. No injuries were reported. McLaughlin was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SHERIDAN – Bethany M. West, 22, of Silver Creek was charged with parking on pavement, unlicensed operator, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child. On Tuesday, at 2:13 a.m., deputies responded to check a suspicious situation on Old Main Road in Sheridan. Upon arrival, they noticed a parked vehicle partially blocking the roadway. The driver – West – was allegedly slumped over the steering wheel. Deputies allegedly located a small quantity of cocaine. She was arraigned in Sheridan Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail.

STOCKTON – Dennis W. Deck, 49, of Sherman was charged with petit larceny. It is alleged that Deck stole money from a business in which he was employed. He was scheduled to appear in Stockton Court at a later date.

BUSTI – Jacqueline K. Cavanaugh, 53, of Spring, Texas, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely and refusal to submit a roadside breath test. On Sunday, at 11:02 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Southwestern Drive in Busti for multiple traffic infractions. The driver – Cavanaugh – was allegedly intoxicated and later refused a chemical test of her breath. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

SHERMAN – George H. Anderson, 27, of Dallas, Texas, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, failure to comply with lawful order, no/inadequate lights and moving from lane unsafely. On Sunday, at 4:51 a.m., deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle on Interstate 86 in Sherman for an equipment violation. The driver – Anderson – allegedly failed to comply and continued westbound into Pennsylvania. Upon entering Pennsylvania, deputies were assisted by Pennsylvania State Police. The vehicle was eventually stopped near Exit 35. Anderson was taken into custody by Pennsylvania State Police. Deputies filed an arrest warrant on him for New York state charges. He will be extradited to New York state to face charges at a later date.

FREDONIA – Roger Nieves, 41, of Dunkirk was charged with theft of services. On Sunday, at 4:15 a.m., deputies responded to Denny’s Restaurant in Fredonia after Nieves allegedly refused to pay for his bill. Nieves was scheduled to appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Randale C. Robertson, 19, of Buffalo was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On Sunday, at 7:10 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that committed a traffic violation on Iola Drive in Hanover. It is alleged that the driver – Robertson – was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Reginald R. Johnson, 30, and Angelica M. Rivera, 27, were both charged with open container in a public place. On Sunday, at 5:30 p.m., deputies noticed both defendants allegedly standing in the road with alcoholic beverages. They were scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

SHERMAN – Mary B. Reynolds, 51, of Mayville was charged with improper turn, DWI and DWI per se. On Sunday, at 2:24 a.m., deputies pulled over Reynolds on Sherman Steadman Road in Sherman for allegedly making an improper turn. It is alleged that Reynolds was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Sherman Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Mitchell R. Urban, 24, of North East, Pa., was charged with speed in 55 mph zone, DWI and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol concentration of .18 percent or more. On Saturday, at midnight, deputies pulled over Urban on Route 20 in Ripley for an alleged traffic infraction. It is alleged that Urban was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Dustin M. Graziano, 19, of Mayville was charged with failure to stop at stop sign and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Aug. 3, at 12:09 a.m., deputies pulled over Graziano for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign on Lakeview Avenue in Mayville. It is alleged that Graziano was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

CARROLL – Eric D. Olson, 47, of Warren, Pa., was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol. On Friday, at 7:09 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a vehicle off the side of Riverside Road in Carroll with an unconscious driver. It is alleged that the driver – Olson – was impaired by drugs and alcohol. He was taken to WCA Hospital for treatment. A record check showed that Olson had suspended driving privileges in New York state. He was scheduled to appear in Carroll Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Rebecca M. Scanlon, 22, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, was charged with failure to keep right, DWI and DWI per se. On Saturday, at 2:17 a.m., deputies pulled over Scanlon for allegedly crossing over the center line of West Lake Road in Mayville. It is alleged that Scanlon was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Matthew J. Piscitelli, 40, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing and resisting arrest. On Sunday, at 12:30 p.m., police responded to a domestic incident at 185 Fairmount Ave. A female victim at the scene alleged that Piscitelli grabbed her neck and choked her. Property was also reportedly broken during the incident. Piscitelli allegedly resisted police during his arrest. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

Terry M. Garrison, 22, of Jamestown was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, operating without a license and unlawful possession of marijuana. William E. Jackson, 29, of Dunkirk was charged with obstructing governmental administration and an outstanding parole warrant. On Friday, at 11:19 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle operating without insurance near 816 Prendergast Ave. The passenger – Jackson – allegedly exited the vehicle and led police on a foot pursuit. He was apprehended a short time later. The driver – Garrison – was charged with the aforementioned charges. Both were scheduled for arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

Jonathan L. Mays, 32, was charged with an aggravated Family Offense warrant, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. Arthur J. Wright, 36, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and obstructing governmental administration. Amanda L. Whitford, 22, was charged with obstructing governmental administration. On Aug. 3, police responded to 522 W. Sixth St. in an attempt to serve an active felony warrant on Mays. Whitford and Wright were allegedly found hiding in the basement. Mays was allegedly found hiding in a closet. He reportedly resisted arrest. All three were scheduled for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Joseph T. Deblew was charged with harassment. On July 23, at 7:55 p.m., it is alleged that Deblew walked into Burger King, located at 43 E. Main St. in Falconer, and threatened to harm a person. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Joseph R. Brookover, 19, of Jamestown, and two other teenagers were charged with petit larceny. It is alleged that Brookover and two teenagers removed approximately $200 from a money box at a produce stand, located on East Main Street in Falconer. All three were scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Kelly A. Berenguer, 36, of Ashville was charged with petit larceny. On Friday, at 9:15 a.m., Berenguer was charged after allegedly removing an item of clothing from the Dollar General, located at West Main Street in Falconer. She was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Bernard E. Mount III, 25, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Monday, at 11:01 a.m., police charged Mount after allegedly committing a theft at the Lakewood Wal-Mart on July 24. It is alleged that Mount damaged the packaging of a cellphone and took the phone out of the packaging. The phone was never recovered, but the damaged packaging was recovered by Wal-Mart staff. Mount allegedly fled Wal-Mart after being confronted by Wal-Mart asset protection. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Jeffrey J. Baker, 52, of Fredonia was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, at 6:13 p.m., police responded to the Lakewood Wal-Mart for a reported larceny in progress. It is alleged that Baker stole items from the store. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Victor Melendez, 38, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Tuesday, at 3:30 p.m., Melendez allegedly stole fragrance merchandise, shampoo and razor blades from the Lakewood Wal-Mart, valued at $205.82. When confronted by Wal-Mart staff, Melendez fled the store on foot toward East Fairmount Avenue. He was later apprehended inside the Lakewood Applebee’s by police. Melendez was arraigned in Busti Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Richard H. Rolfe Jr., 24, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing government administration and resisting arrest. On July 22, at 7:25 p.m., police responded to a report of a trespass at 102 Hall Ave. Officers arrived on scene and located two females who alleged that they were moving into the house and just starting to rent the residence. It was later determined that the property was owned by the bank and no one was supposed to be at the property. It was also determined that Rolfe, who had an outstanding felony warrant, may be hiding in the basement. After several warnings for Rolfe to come out, K9 Mitchell was deployed and found Rolfe allegedly hiding in the basement. It is alleged that Rolfe attempted to choke K9 Mitchell. He was later apprehended and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

Tommy Williams Jr., 47, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and aggravated Family Offense. On Tuesday, at 3:41 a.m., police responded to a Bradmar Circle address for a reported domestic dispute. It is alleged that Williams destroyed several potted plants and other patio equipment that belonged to the victim. A criminal history check revealed that Williams had a previous domestic incident conviction within the last five years. He was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Natasha M. Eccles, 35, of Randolph was charged with petit larceny. On July 27, at 5:40 p.m., Eccles was charged after allegedly stealing $67.13 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Jaison R. Hayes, 24, of Kennedy was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to stop at stop sign. On July 27, at 12:36 a.m., police pulled over Hayes who allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign on Hunt Road. It is alleged that he was impaired by drugs and in possession of marijuana and crushed Vicodin pills. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Blake R. McAffee, 23, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and second-degree falsifying business records. It is alleged that McAffee did not enter a customer payment into Holiday Inn records and took a customer’s payment without permission in October 2015. McAffee was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

James A. Meuker, 18, of Jamestown and a 17-year-old male were charged with sixth-degree criminal conspiracy. On July 28, at 6 a.m., police responded to Celoron Park to investigate a report of youths going through vehicles. It is alleged that the two defendants entered vehicles in the area of East Avenue in Celoron. The two males were scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

BROCTON – Adam J. Neubauer, 26, of Brocton was charged with third-degree assault. On Monday, at 10:25 p.m., deputies received a report of a possible assault victim on Central Avenue in Brocton. An investigation determined that Neubauer allegedly pushed a person who was standing on a flight of stairs. The victim fell and was injured. The victim was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Neubauer was arraigned in Brocton Court and committed to the county jail on bail.

MAYVILLE – Suzan M. Chase, 54, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps. On Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m., Chase was charged following a joint investigation by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Health and Human Services Program Integrity Unit. It is alleged that while receiving food stamps, a member of Chase’s household was receiving employment income and that income was not reported to Social Services. As a result of the alleged unreported income, Chase received $1,079 in unentitled food stamps. She was issued appearance tickets for Jamestown City Court.

Amanda R. Ashley, 27, of Jamestown was charged with disorderly conduct. On Monday, at 1:30 p.m., Ashley was observed at the South County Office Building in Jamestown, where she was allegedly using obscene language and continued to do so after receiving a warning from a deputy. She was scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Amanda J. Garcia-Birt, 26, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and misuse of food stamps. On Tuesday, at 10:20 a.m., Garcia-Birt was charged following a welfare fraud investigation by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the DHHS Program Integrity Unit. It is alleged that Garcia-Birt failed to report employment income to Social Services. As a result of the alleged unreported income, Garcia Birt received $1,357 in unentitled food stamps. She was issued appearance tickets for Jamestown City Court.

HANOVER – Quentin J. Lawton, 22, and Jaralyn E. Majak, 27, both of Silver Creek, were charged with second-degree harassment. On Monday, at 11:43 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Hanover Road in Hanover for a reported disturbance. Both defendants were charged after further investigation. They were arraigned in Sheridan and Hanover courts and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $500 bail.

FORESTVILLE-Kenneth W. Brightman, 29, of Sherman was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, at 6:47 p.m., Brightman was charged after allegedly stealing money from another person. He was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

RIPLEY-Daniel A. Kalie, 54, of Fairview, Pa., was charged with DWI, DWI per se, speed in zone and failure to dim lights. On July 30, at 10:30 p.m., deputies pulled over Kalie for allegedly speeding on South State Street in Ripley. It is alleged that Kalie was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY-Kristina D. Joy, 31, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and no stopping/standing/parking on highway. On Sunday, at 1:57 a.m., deputies located an occupied vehicle parked on the side of Panama Stedman Road at Stedman Corners. The driver – Joy – allegedly had a small quantity of narcotics. She was issued an appearance ticket for North Harmony Court.

KENNEDY – Charlene Mesel, 53, of Kennedy was charged with DWI. On July 30, Mesel was pulled over on Route 62 in Kennedy for allegedly failing to dim her high beams. It is alleged that she was intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration of .14. She was scheduled to appear in Poland Court at a later date.

ELLERY – Brittany Love, 28, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment. On July 30, police responded to a residence in Ellery for a report of children being assaulted. It is alleged that Love entered a camper on the property, grabbed a person by the neck and choked the person for a period of time. Love then allegedly struck the person before striking and scratching another person. Both victims were under 17 years of age. Love was arraigned in Ellery Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

SHERMAN – Patrick Ziolkowski, 34, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and various traffic violations. He was located at a residence in Sherman after police received a tip about his location. He was arraigned in Chautauqua Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
