CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPT.

HANOVER – Christine M. Fuentes, 40, of Silver Creek, was taken to Lakeshore Hospital for treatment of minor injuries after a motor vehicle accident at 3:59 a.m. July 21 on Dennison Road. Fuentes told deputies she had swerved to miss a deer, causing her to strike a tree. The Forestville Fire Department and Alstar Ambulance assisted at the scene. The incident is under investigation.

DUNKIRK – Jacob F. Kaczor, 45, of 259 Lake Shore Drive East, Dunkirk, was charged with fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 4:39 p.m. July 22 after Dunkirk police served a warrant on Kaczor’s home. The arrest warrant had been issued earlier by the Dunkirk City Court Judge Walter Drag. It is alleged by members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force Kaczor sold quantities of narcotic pharmaceuticals to task force agents within the city of Dunkirk. Kaczor was taken to the Dunkirk City Jail, arraigned and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail, pending further court action.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

Jordan JL Eckwahl, 29, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault at 11:43 p.m. Friday after police officers responded to the area near Allen and Willard streets for a reported fight. Officers found a man who said he had been assaulted by another man. Eckwahl was reportedly found by officers a short distance away, was charged and taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned. The victim was taken to WCA Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Spencer C. Barmes, 36, of Warren was charged with speed in zone, failure to maintain lane, refusal of a road side breath test and driving while intoxicated at 12:44 a.m. Saturday at Foote Avenue and Newland Avenue after officers saw a grey Jeep Cherokee speeding on Foote Avenue near Newland Avenue. Barmes was charged with DWI and taken to the city jail to be booked. While at the jail, Barmes reportedly refused to submit to a chemical breath test. He will be in court later.

Matthew R. Herrera, 27, of Lakewood was charged with no/inadequate lights, speed in zone, DWI and DWI per se at 12:36 a.m. Sunday after he was pulled over after officers reportedly saw his vehicle driving across the Third Street Bridge with no headlights on. A chemical test at the Jamestown City Jail confirmed Herrera was driving with a blood-alcohol content more than the legal limit, according to a police report. Herrera will be in court later.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

LAKEWOOD – John L. McCown, 24, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny at 4:30 p.m. Friday. It is alleged McCown, an employee of the Lakewood Wal-Mart, stole several food, soda and items of merchandise over two months while he was working. McCown will be in Busti Town Court later.

LAKEWOOD – Justin M. Pringle, 27, and Jennifer L. Pringle, 30, both of Jamestown, were charged with petit larceny after allegedly leaving the Wal-Mart store in Lakewood with a cart full of clothing, food and DVDs for which they had not paid. The recovered merchandise was valued at $494.05. They will be in Busti Town Court later.

LAKEWOOD – Nancie L. Gerrish, 38, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing food, clothing and general merchandise valued at $208.89 from the Lakewood Wal-Mart store. She will be in Busti Town Court later.

ELLICOTT POLICE

Robert G. Horton, 48, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment after allegedly making several phone calls and continuing contact with a person after Horton was allegedly notified no contact was needed. Police report the harassment began in October 2015 and had been ongoing since then. Horton will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Gloria E. Rodriguez, 33, of Bronx, N.Y., was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17 and third-degree fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle after her vehicle was pulled over on Interstate 86 near Sherman. A passenger, Robert Lajara, 32, of Bronx, N.Y., was charged with resisting arrest and acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17. They will be in court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

Jason D. Dalke, 33, of Tonawanda, was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital after a one-car accident at 12:06 p.m. Monday. Police report Dalke was traveling north on Route 60 in Charlotte when he crossed into the south-bound lane, went off the road and came to rest after hitting several trees. He was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital by Sinclairville Rescue for non-life threatening injuries. Alstar Ambulance also responded to the scene. The investigation is continuing. No charges have been filed.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Omar V. Marrero, 30, of Falconer was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Tuesday, at 8:45 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Broadhead Avenue because they knew the driver – Marrero – had a valid arrest warrant from Jamestown City Court. It is alleged that Marrero had 5.4 grams of marijuana in his possession. He was scheduled to appear in city court at a later date.

Howard L. McAvoy, 39, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, obstructing governmental administration and criminal tampering. On Thursday, at 7:30 a.m., police responded to a domestic incident at a Stowe Street address. A victim at the scene alleged that McAvoy was verbally and physically abusive throughout the early morning. McAvoy allegedly damaged the victim’s car and home and even shut off the water in the residence. McAvoy was apprehended after a brief struggle. It is alleged that he had a semi-automatic pistol without having a New York State pistol permit. McAvoy was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kyle Lewis, 24, was charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. On Wednesday, at 4 p.m., police pulled over Lewis at 620 Fairmount Ave. It is alleged that Lewis had a hypodermic needle. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court on Aug. 24.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Curtis J. Frink, 27, of Randolph was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, at 7:40 p.m., Frink was charged after he allegedly stole $41.17 in merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK – Quentin J. Lawton, 22, of Stockton was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. On Thursday, at 5:05 p.m., deputies took a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. It is alleged that Lawton kicked and punched a vehicle, causing approximately $1,100 of damages. A warrant was issued and Lawton was later picked up and taken to Hanover Court. He was remanded to the county jail on bail.

HANOVER – Erick M. Burgos, 29, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance. On Friday, at 7:20 a.m., deputies investigated a report of a recording device in the a women’s restroom. It is alleged that a victim located the device that Burgos placed in the restroom. Burgos allegedly attempted to retrieve the phone from the victim after she discovered it. Police said Burgos has cooperated with the investigation and that there are no other victims. Burgos will appear in Hanover Court on July 28 at 7 p.m.

STOCKTON – Joshua A. Bates, 27, of Jamestown was charged with driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Thursday, at 10:12 p.m., deputies located a vehicle pulled over on Hartfield-Stockton Road in Stockton. Deputies stopped to check on the driver – Bates – and determined that he was allegedly impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol. A record check of Bates found that he allegedly had a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years, making this arrest a felony. He was scheduled to appear in Stockton Court at a later date.

BEMUS POINT – John L. Bloomquist, 69, of South Carolina, was charged with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to use turn signal. On Friday, at 12:45 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Merz Avenue in Bemus Point. It is alleged that the driver – Bloomquist – was intoxicated. He also allegedly had suspended driving privileges. He was scheduled to appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

ELLERY – Heather L. Gelencser, 21, of Angola was charged with two counts of speeding, two counts of reckless driving, two counts of failure to comply, unsafe passing, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Thursday, at 10:39 a.m., deputies observed a north bound vehicle on Route 380 in Gerry pass at a very high rate of speed. It is alleged that the driver – Gelencser – failed to comply with deputies when they attempted to pull her over. Gelencser allegedly continued to drive recklessly, speeding passed several vehicles. She eventually pulled over in Ellery and was taken into custody. She was arraigned in Ellery Court and committed to the county jail.

POLAND – Thaddeus A. Johnson, 22, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On July 17, at 6:52 a.m., Johnson was allegedly involved in an altercation where he caused serious physical injury to another individual. It is also alleged that Johnson punched a hole in the wall of the residence. He was arraigned in Poland Court and remanded to the county jail.

FORESTVILLE – Levi A. Pfleuger, 21, of Forestville, and Paul M. Davis, 19, of South Dayton, were charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. On July 14, deputies received a complaint of an earlier stolen vehicle at a Forestville address. Investigation determined that Pfleuger and Davis were allegedly responsible. They were scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

PORTLAND – Thomas H. Majkowski, 40, of Brocton was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. On July 15, at 11:44 p.m., deputies responded to a complaint at the Portland town park of an individual in violation of an order of protection. It is alleged that Majkowski was in violation of a valid order of protection. He was scheduled to appear in Portland Court at a later date.

Krystina E. Papaserge, 31, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree forgery, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and two counts of petit larceny. In mid-June, Papaserge allegedly took a checkbook from a residence in Panama. It is alleged that she completed a check from that book and forged the signature of the owner. She then allegedly cashed the check for $160 at a Jamestown bank. Papaserge was scheduled to appear in Harmony and Jamestown City courts at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Jesse Kresek, 28, of Chautauqua was charged with third-degree assault. On July 9, at 2:17 a.m., deputies responded to an incident at the Lakeview Hotel in Mayville. It is alleged that Kresek was involved in an assault. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Lorilynn Moriarty, 21, of Jamestown was charged with resisting arrest. On Monday, at 8:55 a.m., police observed Moriarty walking on East Sixth Avenue near Pine Street. Moriarty reportedly had a valid felony bench warrant out of Jamestown City Court. When she saw the police, she allegedly began running north through several backyards. She was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. Moriarty was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Roshad J. Roberts, 27, of Jamestown was charged with fugitive from justice, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Hilary N. Link, 23, of Jamestown was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree hindering prosecution. On Friday, at 8:42 p.m., police attempted to serve an arrest warrant on Roberts at a 75 Royal Ave. address. Roberts was reportedly wanted out of Pennsylvania for felony warrants and was seen at the residence by an officer. Police made contact with Link, who also lived at the residence. She was allegedly uncooperative with the investigation and refused to allow officers to enter the residence. With the assistance of the Detective Bureau, a search warrant was obtained from Jamestown City Court. The Jamestown Police SWAT Team assisted the execution of the search warrant. Roberts and Link were apprehended and taken to the city jail. They were arraigned Saturday and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail. Three children were inside the residence during the incident. Lakewood-Busti police assisted the Jamestown police.

Aubrey E. Baize, 22, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Friday, at 9:54 a.m., police responded to 304 Forest Ave. for a reported domestic incident. It is alleged that Baize damaged property belonging to the victim during a domestic incident. She was taken to the city jail without incident.

Michael A. Johnson, 41, of Jamestown was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, circumventing interlock device and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Saturday, at 4:30 p.m., police pulled over a Johnson for an alleged traffic violation on Bemus Street near Lind Alley. Officers allegedly observed open alcohol containers in the vehicle. It is alleged that Johnson was intoxicated. A check of his license reportedly revealed 20 active suspensions on his license. Johnson was additionally charged with drug possession after narcotics were allegedly located on him after being apprehended. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Luis M. Martinez, 23, and Wanda Esquilin Hernandez, 48, both of Jamestown, were charged with disorderly conduct, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. On Saturday, at 6 p.m., police responded to the area of North Main Street and West Sixth Street for a reported fight. It is alleged that Martinez and Hernandez were armed with a knife and a baseball bat, respectively, and engaged in a fight with another person. Both were taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Kevin R. Raymond, 51, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. On Saturday, at 5:27 p.m., police responded to 239 Forest Ave. for a reported domestic incident. It is alleged that Raymond struck and broke the nose of his 11-year-old son before grabbing him by the throat. Raymond was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Lisandro M. Sanchez, 36, was charged with criminally possessing a hypodermic needle, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. On Saturday, at 9:08 p.m., police responded to 518 W. Falconer St. for a reported domestic incident. While officers were present, Sanchez allegedly attempted to conceal a hypodermic needle under a bed. He also allegedly resisted arrest. A second hypodermic needle was reportedly found after a subsequent search. He was issued an appearance ticket to Ellicott Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tabitha J. Dellahoy, 27, of Ashville was charged with endangering welfare of a child. On July 13, at 10:38 a.m., police responded to a report of an unattended child found in the middle of Route 474. Upon arrival, police found a citizen holding a two-year-old child. Officers then interviewed two citizens and learned that both of them were driving in opposite directions on Route 474. Both slowed their vehicles when a dog entered the roadway. After the dog ran across the road, a two-year-old child ran across the road. Both drivers stopped quickly and went after the child, who was standing in the yard of a home. They picked up the child and held it until police arrived. Police entered the home and found the mother asleep upstairs. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAYVILLE-Kimberly Campaign, 49, of Forestville was charged with second-degree criminal use of a public benefit card and misuse of food stamps. Sharilin A. Pfluger, 42, of Forestville was charged with misuse of food stamps. On Monday, at 1:55 p.m., the two defendants were charged following a joint welfare fraud investigation by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Health and Human Services Program Integrity Unit. It is alleged that Campaign exchanged food stamps provided to her for cash provided by Pfleuger. Selling or exchanging SNAP/food stamp benefits is unlawful. Both women were issued appearance tickets to appear in Jamestown City Court on a future date

MAYVILLE-Jennifer M. Blanchard, 36, of Mayville was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. On Sunday, at 12:56 a.m., deputies responded to a 34 S. Erie St. address in Mayville after receiving a 9-1-1 call about a lost child. An investigation found that an approximately 2-year-old child was heard screaming and a concerned neighbor found the child standing outside on the sidewalk. It is alleged that the child was not kept in a secure residence. The Chautauqua County Child Protective Services was also contacted. Blanchard was issued an appearance ticket for Chautauqua Court.

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Robert L. Barr Jr. of Jamestown was charged with aggravated Family Offense and fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Tuesday, at 2 p.m, police responded to 102 Catlin St. for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers located the victim behind the residence and could reportedly hear Barr yelling inside. The victim alleged that Barr came inside and kicked the lawn mower several times, causing it to break. Barr was apprehended inside and taken to the city jail. He is awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Dustan J. Clifton, 31, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, no helmet while driving motorcycle, unlicensed operation and resisting arrest. On July 4, at 9:15 p.m., Clifton was charged after allegedly being involved in a hit and run accident during the Fourth of July festivities in Lakewood. It is alleged that Clifton struck a vehicle while riding his motorcycle and attempted to leave the scene. The passenger of the vehicle reportedly pursued Clifton on foot and shut his bike off. An officer witnessed the altercation and intervened. It is alleged that Clifton was intoxicated. It is also alleged that Clifton was uncooperative and attempted to flee from arrest. He was later apprehended and scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Treniel P. Bunce, 28, of Falconer was charged with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and criminal contempt. On Saturday, at 6:30 a.m., police responded to 106 N. Work St. for a reported disorderly subject destroying property at that residence. It is alleged that Bunce damaged property at the residence, harassed a victim and violated a court order. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Michael J. Wilcox, 44, of Kennedy was charged with second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree criminal contempt. On Saturday, at 10:55 p.m., police responded to a reported domestic dispute in Falconer. It is alleged that Wilcox threatened an individual at the residence, while using obscenities in front of a subject less than 17 years old. It is also alleged that Wilcox violated an order of protection from Ellicott Court. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAYVILLE – Shaqua L. McCullum, 23, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny and misuse of food stamps. On Tuesday, at 3:24 p.m., McCullum was charged in connection with welfare fraud following a joint investigation by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Health and Human Services Program Integrity Unit. It is alleged that McCullum became employed while receiving SNAP/food stamp benefits and failed to report this income to DHHS. As a result of the unreported income, McCullum received $714 in unentitled food stamps. She was issued appearance tickets for Jamestown City Court.

MAYVILLE – Richard E. Knighton, 31, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps. Linda L. Knighton, 63, of Falconer was charged with first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. On Saturday, at 3:06 p.m., both defendants were charged in connection with a welfare fraud investigation. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Health and Human Services Program Integrity Unit conducted a joint investigation after it was learned that Richard may have had unreported income. It is alleged that Richard Knighton filed an application for SNAP/food stamp benefits which failed to list employment income that he was receiving. Linda Knighton allegedly completed the application and signed it on her son Richard’s behalf while knowing that it omitted employment information. Both were issued appearance tickets for Jamestown City Court.

MAYVILLE – Tracey E. Dalton, 18, of Falconer was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, moving from lane unsafely and driving across hazard markings. On July 7, at 7:45 p.m., deputies located a vehicle in the ditch on East Chautauqua Street in Mayville. It is alleged that Dalton was the driver and had driven under the influence of drugs. She was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court.

MAYVILLE – Krista M. Carroll, 30, of Westfield was charged with DWI, DWI per se and failure to dim lights. On Saturday, at 12:23 a.m., deputies pulled over Carroll for allegedly not dimming her high beams on East Chautauqua Street in Mayville. It is alleged that Carroll was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

ELLERY – Bradley E. Devine, 54, of Olmstead Township, Ohio, was charged with DWI, DWI per se, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. On Sunday, at 12:30 a.m., deputies pulled over Devine for allegedly making several lane violations. It is alleged that Devine was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

DUNKIRK – Gordon J. Kuzon, 65, of Fredonia was charged with DWI, DWI per se and speed over 55 miles per hour. On Sunday, at 9:18 p.m., deputies pulled over Kuzon for allegedly speeding on Route 5 in Dunkirk. It is alleged that Kuzon was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Dunkirk City Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Edwin B. Munson, 51, of Ripley was charged with operating a motor vehicle while talking on a mobile phone, DWI and DWI per se. On Monday, at 9:45 p.m., deputies pulled over Munson on Goodrich Street in Ripley for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that Munson was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Brandon M. Anderson 29, of Frewsburg was charged with obstructing governmental administration, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. On July 6, at 12:50 p.m., police were on patrol in the area of Foote Avenue and Newland Avenue when they observed Anderson walking the area. Anderson allegedly had a valid felony warrant from the JPD. It is alleged that Anderson had a quantity of marijuana and two types of controlled substances in his person. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Daniel F. Johnson, 27, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and several traffic violations. On Sunday, at 3:53 a.m., police observed a vehicle traveling recklessly in the Tim Hortons parking lot in Brooklyn Square. As police tried to stop the vehicle, it reportedly accelerated through the drive through of Community Bank. The vehicle struck a post near the bank and then fled eastbound on Harrison Street. As the vehicle attempted a high-speed turn on Allen Street, it became involved in an accident. The driver – Johnson – allegedly started to flee on foot. He was later caught and found to be allegedly intoxicated. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sierra R. Smith, 22, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On July 5, at 6 p.m., Smith allegedly stole $65.10 in merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Chyanna Muntz, 28, of Kennedy was charged with petit larceny. On July 5, at 4:30 p.m., Muntz allegedly stole $9.83 worth of Lithium batteries at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK-Edward J. Jaycox, 35, of Buffalo was charged with speed in zone, unlicensed operator and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator. On Friday, at 11:42 p.m., deputies pulled over Jaycox for an alleged traffic infraction on Central Avenue in Silver Creek. It is alleged that Jaycox had a suspended driver’s license. He was issued tickets for Silver Creek Court.

ASHVILLE-Luis A. Rodriguez, 33, of Wichita, Kansas, was charged with DWI, DWI per se with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 percent or more, unlicensed operation, speed in zone and failure to keep right. On Saturday, at 1:43 a.m., deputies pulled over Rodriguez for alleged traffic violations on Route 394 in North Harmony. It is alleged that Rodriguez was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

IRVING-Karl A. Trembath, 28, Derby was charged with felony DWI, DWI per se and inadequate muffler. On July 5, at 11:40 p.m., deputies pulled over Trembath after an alleged traffic infraction on Route 5/20 in Hanover. It is alleged that Trembath was intoxicated and had a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years. He was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD-Barbara J. Peterson, 54, of Westfield was charged with failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, DWI and aggravated DWI. On July 6, at 2:06 a.m., deputies pulled over Peterson on Ogden Road in Westfield for alleged traffic violations. It is alleged that Peterson was intoxicated with a BAC of .18 percent or higher. She was scheduled to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

HANOVER-Haider Dhari, 26, of Buffalo was charged with failure to yield the right of way, moving from lane unsafely, DWI and DWI per se. On July 5, at 11:10 p.m., deputies received a complaint of a possible intoxicated driver at Route 5/20 in Hanover. Deputies located the vehicle and pulled it over for alleged traffic violations. It is alleged that the driver-Dhari-was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-Zakary Rochan, 42, of Niagara Falls, Ontario, was charged with failure to use designated lane, DWI and DWI per se. On July 3, at 1:37 a.m., deputies pulled over Rochan for allegedly driving on the shoulder of the roadway on Route 394 in Mayville. It is alleged that Rochan was intoxicated He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY-Jessy DeDionisio, 22, of Erie, Pa., was charged with moving from lane unsafely, open alcohol container in motor vehicle, DWI per se and DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more. On July 1, at 12:51 a.m., deputies pulled over DeDionisio for allegedly committing several traffic infractions on Route 474 in North Harmony. It is alleged that DeDionisio was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Joshua P. Perez, 31, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree criminal trespass and multiple Jamestown City Court warrants. On Tuesday, at 12:10 p.m., police responded to 11 Irvine Place for a reported domestic incident. Upon arrival, police located Perez and learned that there was a valid order of protection for him to stay away from the residence and the victim who lived there. Perez was allegedly inside the residence without permission. Perez was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Edgardo L. Lopez, 24, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration. On Sunday, at 8:55 a.m., police responded to 739 E. Second St. for a report of a male with a knife refusing to leave the residence. Upon arrival, police made contact with Lopez inside the apartment. As officers attempted to investigate further, Lopez allegedly slammed the door on officers and attempted to block them entering and ensuring the safety of the individuals inside. After a forced entry, police apprehended Lopez and transported him to the city jail.

William R. Butcher, 44, of Pennsylvania, was charged with false personation and fugitive from justice. On Sunday, at 1:57 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of Winsor and Chandler streets for a traffic infraction. One of the passengers – Butcher – allegedly gave police a false name to protect his identity. Butcher was reportedly wanted by parole in Pennsylvania and in Cattaraugus County. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Rebecca S. Machado, 18, of Lakewood, and Akyra M. Roberts, 18, of Jamestown were charged with petit larceny and criminal mischief. On Sunday, at 4 p.m., both defendants allegedly stole multiple clothes, jewelry and health and cosmetic items from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. The merchandise valued $493.58. Several of the items were allegedly damaged by the defendants and could no longer be sold. Machado reportedly had her 4-month-old child during the incident and was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child. They were issued appearance tickets for Busti Court.

ELLICOTT

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Todd P. Kennelley, 41, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault. On Saturday, at 8:30 p.m., police responded to an assault in progressing Ellicott. Upon arrival, police found an individual who had been struck in the face. It is alleged that Kennelley was the suspect responsible. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the county jail.

Donna M. Foringer, 35, of Jamestown was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. On Saturday, at 8:30 p.m., police responded to an unrelated incident with Foringer allegedly began to act disorderly. It is alleged that she was highly intoxicated and started using obscene language in a quiet, residential area. She also allegedly attempted to strike and flee an officer. She was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Miguel A. Soto, 42, of Jamestown was recently charged with larceny. It is alleged that Soto stole seven cases of beer from Wegmans on Fairmount Avenue. He was issued an appearance ticket to Ellicott Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAYVILLE – Amber D. Rasmussen, 28, of Jamestown was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, speed in zone, moving from lane unsafely and unlicensed operator. On Sunday, at 11:54 p.m., deputies pulled over a driver who was allegedly speeding on West Chautauqua Street in Mayville. It is alleged that the driver – Rasmussen – was intoxicated and had a passenger who was under 16 years old. She was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Sitra M. Gatur, 27, of Buffalo was charged with DWI and DWI per se. On Sunday, at 10:59 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle complaint in Hanover. It is alleged that the driver – Gatur – was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER – James R. Morana, 25, of Clarence Center was charged with felony DWI, DWI per se and failure to stop at a stop sign. On Monday, at 1:46 a.m., deputies pulled over a driver on Alleghany Road in Hanover for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign. It is alleged that the driver – Morana – was intoxicated and had a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years. He was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Jason A. Simmons, 35, of Perrysburg was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, failure to keep right and other vehicle and traffic charges. On Monday, at 7:29 p.m., deputies pulled over Simmons for allegedly committing several vehicle and traffic violations. It is alleged that Simmons was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

IRVING – Raymond T. Skibicki, 24, of Elma was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On Monday, at 2:53 a.m., deputies pulled over Skibicki for an alleged traffic infraction. It is alleged that Skibikci had a small quantity of marijuana in his possession. He was issued an appearance ticket to Hanover Court.

MAYVILLE – Cierra L. Beardsley, 28, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in 55 mph zone. On Sunday, at 2 p.m., deputies received a complaint of a vehicle traveling in a reckless manner on Route 430. Deputies pulled over the vehicle in Mayville and determined that the driver – Beardsley – allegedly had a small quantity of marijuana. She was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

IRVING – Meghan L. Buchheit, 37, of Orchard Park was charged with DWI, unlicensed operator and breath test refusal. Justin M. Buchheit, 32, of Orchard Park was charged with DWI, DWI per se with BAC of .08 percent or more, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and no seatbelt. On Sunday, at 6:49 a.m., deputies observed a male driving a vehicle without a seatbelt on Alleghany Road in Hanover. While pulling over the vehicle, deputies observed the driver switch positions with a female. Both individuals were allegedly intoxicated. They were scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HARMONY – William R. Swanson, 61, of Kennedy was charged with felony DWI, DWI with .08 percent or higher, failure to keep right and failure to maintain lane. On Sunday, at 5:40 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 474 in Harmony for numerous lane violations. It is alleged that the driver – Swanson – was intoxicated and had a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years. He was scheduled to appear in Harmony Court at a later date.

SHERIDAN – Nicole J. Coleman, 20, of Sheridan was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Sunday, at 1:40 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 20 in Sheridan for an alleged traffic violation. While deputies spoke with the driver – Coleman – they noticed a marijuana pipe in plain view. It is alleged that Coleman was in possession of a small quantity of concentrated cannabis. She was issued an appearance ticket for Sheridan Court. Her passenger – Ronald A. Thomas, 20, of Irving – allegedly had an active bench warrant out of Hamburg Court. He was transferred to Hamburg Police.

WESTFIELD – James E. Elly, 55, of North Chili was charged with aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 percent or more, DWI, consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle and failure to signal turn. On Friday, at 5:08 p.m., deputies pulled over a driver for alleged committing traffic violations on North Portage Road in Westfield. The driver – Elly – was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Anthony J. Sommerville, 41, of Endwell was charged with first-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief. On Thursday, at 11:02 p.m., police responded to a Struges St. address for a reported violent domestic incident. Upon arrival, police located Sommerville with numerous cuts to his forearm and being restrained by two parties in the living room. It is alleged that Sommerville smashed through a double pane glass sliding door with an aluminum baseball bat to gain entry. He reportedly destroyed a hanging light with the bat in the process. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

Jesus Serrano Martinez, 27, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. On Thursday, at 11:29 a.m., police responded to 904 Prendergast Ave, for a reported large group of people fighting in the road. Upon arrival, police began speaking with a group of individuals near a vehicle and discovered a pair of metal knuckles in the front seat. Martinez reportedly said the knuckles belonged to him. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Benjamin S. Fuller, 35, of Olean was charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation, fourth-degree criminal mischief and unlawful imprisonment. Adrianne S. Fuller, 34, of Olean was charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. On Thursday, at 1:27 a.m., police responded to 20 W. 12th St. for a reported domestic violence incident. Upon arrival, police located both defendants attempted to leave the scene. It is alleged that both defendants were involved in an altercation with the female resident of the address. It is alleged that they struck the female victim and prevented her from leaving the residence. This reportedly occurred in the presence of five children. Both defendants were taken to city jail to await arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

CELORON – Michael G. Newman, 35, of Celoron was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and first-degree unlawful imprisonment. On Wednesday, at 11:01 p.m., police responded to a reported domestic dispute at 66 Dunham Ave. in Celoron. It is alleged that Newman subjected two individuals to unwanted physical contact and unlawfully restrained them. It is also alleged that he obstructed the breathing or circulation of one individual. Ellicott police were assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, who charged Newman with disorderly conduct, second-degree obstructing governmental adminstration and resisting arrest. Newman was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail. He is awaiting a bail recommendation from the district attorney’s office.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Zachary Card, 24, of Celoron was charged with nine counts for first-degree forgery and petit larceny. On June 27, police received a larceny complaint that revealed that Card allegedly stole checks on nine separate occasions from a victim’s checkbook, made each check out to himself and forged the victim’s signature. Card reportedly did this over a six-month span and obtained a total of $835. Card was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
