ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Alec J. Harrington, 22, and Mark A. Young, 28, both of Jamestown, were charged with trespassing. Harrington and Young allegedly trespassed into the backyard of a residence that had a fenced gate. They were issued appearance tickets for Ellicott Court.
Daniel P. Martin, 34, of Panama was charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated common law and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more. On May 18, at 7:30 p.m., police responded to a reported vehicle traveling all over the road. Police later located the vehicle and allegedly observed the driver commit traffic violations. The driver – Martin – was allegedly intoxicated. He was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.
Damian C. Rosado, 36, of Kennedy was charged with petit larceny. On May 8, police responded to Bob Evans, located on Route 60, for a reported subject who removed license plates from another vehicle. After a warrant was issued, Rosado turned himself into police on Friday. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court.
Larry W. Phillips, 46, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment. On Thursday, Phillips allegedly approached a victim’s vehicle in the parking lot of 3208 Fluvanna Ave. Ext. in Ellicott. It is alleged that he verbally harassed his ex-girlfriend for several moments before leaving. Phillips was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Angelo F. P. Villa II, 27, of Lakewood was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration. On May 13, police responded to a residence on Ohio Avenue in Lakewood for a reported subject with a gun. It is alleged that Villa attempted to run and hide pellet guns in the residence while being directed to stop by an officer. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Tyjai D. Wilson, 20, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. On Sunday, at 5:30 p.m., Wilson was charged at the Lakewood Wal-Mart for allegedly carrying a handgun. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Wendy L. Sanfilippo, 39, of Ashville was charged with operating with suspended registration, operating without insurance, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of marijuana and unsafe tires. On May 18, at 4:51 p.m., police pulled over a driver for allegedly operating on a suspended registration due to no insurance on file with the Department of Motor Vehicles. The driver-Sanfilippo-allegedly refused to supply police with a license, registration and proof of insurance. She allegedly refused to identify herself and refused to exit the vehicle. A small quantity of marijuana was allegedly found in her possession. She was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Nicolas J. Reeves, 26, of Celoron was charged with following too close and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Tuesday, at 11 p.m., police responded to a vehicle accident on East Summit Avenue in Lakewood. It is alleged that Reeves was traveling westbound and following another vehicle too closely. When the front vehicle was forced to brake because of an animal crossing, Reeves reportedly rear-ended the vehicle. Reeves was also allegedly in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

NORTH HARMONY-Amanda K. Jackson, 27, of Verona, Pa., was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without interlock device, unlicensed operation and failure to dim high beams. On Wednesday, at 1:50 a.m., deputies pulled over Jackson’s vehicle on Route 394 in North Harmony for an observed traffic infraction. It is alleged that Jackson had a revoked driver’s license for prior alcohol-related driving offenses. She also allegedly had an interlock device restriction on her license that was not being used in the vehicle. Jackson was scheduled to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

GERRY-Elizabeth Brewer, 26, of Jamestown was charged with DWI. On Sunday, Troopers discovered Brewer allegedly unconscious behind the wheel of her idling vehicle in a parking lot after business hours. Investigation revealed that Brewer had allegedly driven to her current location in an intoxicated condition. She was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where she provided a breath sample of .09. She was scheduled to appear in Gerry Court at a later date.
CARROLL-Kayla Johnson, 22, of Kennedy was charged with aggravated DWI. On Saturday, Johnson was pulled over on Route 62 in Frewsburg for an observed traffic violation. It is alleged that she was intoxicated with a breath sample of .20. She was scheduled to appear in Carroll Court at a later date.
Justin Putt, 21, of Jamestown was charged with DWI. On Saturday, Putt was pulled over on Willard Street in Jamestown for allegedly driving erratically. It is alleged that he was intoxicated with a breath sample of .07. He was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Thomas Bascom, 28, of Kennedy and Luis Diaz-Vazquez, 25, of Jamestown were both charged with trespassing. On May 17, Troopers interviewed a resident in Kennedy who reported that he caught Bascom and Luis-Vazquez in possession of scrap metal they removed from his burned down home. Although they returned the stolen scrap metal when the complainant requested, they did not have permission to be on his property. Both were scheduled to appear in Poland Court at a later date.
Karla Fontanez, 19, Angel Nales Roman, 24, and Christian Leon Nazariom, 25, all of Jamestown, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On May 12, Fontanez was pulled over on Route 60 in Jamestown for an observed traffic violation. Troopers reportedly smelled marijuana from the vehicle and found several marijuana cigarettes, a pipe containing marijuana residue and a bag containing marijuana in their possession. All three individuals were scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court. Leon Nazario was then turned over to Jamestown Police officers due to an outstanding warrant for unpaid parking tickets.
FREWSBURG-Sloan Milne, 26, of Rew, Pa., was charged with DWI. On May 18, Sloan was pulled over on Route 62 in Frewsburg for allegedly speeding. She was allegedly intoxicated with a breath sample of .13. She was scheduled to appear in Carroll Court at a later date.
Timothy Warrior, 60, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree falsifying business records. In April, four Jamestown teens were charged for allegedly stealing a vehicle, one of whom claimed to be 15 years old. As a result, the teen was issued a Chautauqua County Family Court appearance ticket and turned over to a parent – Warrior. State Troopers were later contacted by the teen’s probation officer, advising that he was 16, therefore subject to the same arrest process as an adult. Investigation revealed that Warrior was allegedly aware of this information but chose to withhold his child’s actual date of birth, therefore causing inaccurate paperwork to be filed with the wrong court. Warrior was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
POMFRET – Kimberlee M. Bush, 44, of Angola was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, speed in zone and open container of alcohol in motor vehicle. On Sunday, at 11:41 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 20 in Pomfret. It is alleged that the driver – Bush – was under the influence of drugs. She was scheduled to appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Thomas J. Loera, 44, of Irving was charged with DWI, DWI per se, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. On Friday, at 1:12 a.m., deputies pulled a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 in Hanover for allegedly making several lane violations. It is alleged that the driver – Loera – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
DUNKIRK – Edward T. Wilson, 21, of Dunkirk was charged with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. On Saturday, at 2:41 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on Route 60 in Dunkirk. The driver – Wilson – was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.
ELLERY – Charlotte M. Coghill, 31, of Fishers, Ind., was charged with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. On Saturday, at 11:26 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on Interstate 86 in Ellery. The driver – Coghill – was allegedly intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Ellery Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA – Stephen P. Murphy, 36, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was charged with DWI, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and failure to keep right. On Saturday, at 2:50 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 430 in Chautauqua that allegedly crossed the center line of the road for no apparent reason. It is alleged that the driver – Murphy – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.
SILVER CREEK – Joshua D. Heimerl, 19, of Angola was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On May 11, at 3:39 p.m., deputies located Heimerl and took him into custody on the outstanding felony warrants which had been issued out of Chautauqua County Court. It is alleged that Heimerl was in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine as well as a number of hydrocodone pills, both of which were packaged for street sale. He was arraigned in Silver Creek Court and remanded to the county jail without bail.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
YORKSHIRE – Corey R. Marshall, 26, of Yorkshire was charged with disorderly conduct. On May 6, at 10 p.m., Marshall was charged after allegedly using loud, vulgar language on Grove Street in Yorkshire despite being told to stop by deputies. He was scheduled to appear in Yorkshire Court at a later date.
HINSDALE – Daniel Thomas Wilson, 39, of Hinsdale was charged with petit larceny, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and possession of burglar tools. On May 14, at 6:50 a.m., Wilson was stopped by police while allegedly walking with stolen property on Route 16 in Hinsdale. Wilson was arraigned and sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail.

FALCONER – Sarah Nazzaro, 22, of Falconer was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On May 9, police pulled over Nazzaro’s vehicle on Route 380 in Falconer for allegedly failing to dim her high beams. After police detected the scent of marijuana, they searched the vehicle and allegedly found a small bag of marijuana between the driver seat and the door. Nazzaro was issued an appearance ticket to Ellicott Court.
FALCONER – Robert Tyler, 35, of Cassadaga was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree menacing and second-degree harassment. On May 10, police responded to Clay Pond in Falconer for a report of a domestic dispute. It is alleged that an argument between Tyler and a victim began at a different location and continued in Tyler’s truck on the way to Clay Pond. Tyler allegedly refused to pull over for the purpose of letting the victim out, and once at Clay Pond, Tyler restrained the victim from leaving and took her cellphone. Tyler was arraigned in Poland Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Edward C. Savory, 19, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation. On Monday, at 11:35 p.m., police responded to the upper apartment of 25 Palmer St. for a reported violent domestic incident. Upon arrival, police reportedly heard a woman yelling and observed a box of household items thrown down the apartment stairs. It is alleged that Savory had squeezed a female victim’s throat and prevented her from breathing properly. He also allegedly punched and damaged the screen of a 50-inch television and kicked out a window during an argument. Savory was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Christian P. Giambrone, 18, of Steamburg was charged with petit larceny. On May 11, at 3:06 p.m., Giambrone allegedly stole two automotive/electronic items from the Lakewood Wal-Mart valuing $44.92. He was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.
Rachel A. Rizzo, 40, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On May 10, at 4:57 p.m., Rizzo was allegedly caught shoplifting from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Randall A. Goodwill, 32, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On May 13, at 4:46 p.m., police pulled over Goodwill’s vehicle on East Summit Avenue and allegedly found a small amount of marijuana inside. He was scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
A 16-year-old female from South Dayton was charged with petit larceny. On May 12, at 7:26 p.m., it is alleged that the 16-year-old stole $55.82 worth of health and beauty products from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
PORTLAND-Aaron Clark, 28, of Brocton was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. On Sunday, at 2:20 p.m., it is alleged that Clark shoved and made unwanted physical contact with a victim. This allegedly occurred in the presence of three children. Clark was taken to the county jail in lieu of $250 cash bail.

David S. Vaughn, 56, and Michael A. Long, 37, both of Jamestown, were charged with second-degree assault. On Sunday, at 12:45 a.m., police responded to 142 Falconer St. Apt. 1 for a reported violent domestic dispute. It is alleged that Vaughn and Long were engaged in a physical fight where Vaughn struck Long with a solid glass ash tray to the head, and Long struck Vaughn with a large rock to the head. Both were transported to the Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
Miguel A. Ramos-Flores, 40, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated Family Offense and several outstanding domestic violence arrest warrants. On Saturday, at 12:57 a.m., police responded to a 514 Prendergast Ave. residence where Ramos-Flores was allegedly violating an order of protection. Ramos-Flores was transported to the city jail to await arraignment.
Kevin T. Klemens of Jamestown was charged with false personation, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. On May 11, at 1:12 a.m., police in the area of Stowe and Buffalo streets observed a Klemens in the yard of a residence. When police asked for Klemens’ name, he allegedly refused and fled into a nearby house. Klemens allegedly physically resisted arrest and gave police a false name. It was later discovered that he had a valid bench warrant from Jamestown City Court. Klemens was taken to the city jail in lieu of bail.
Two 17-year-old males from Jamestown were charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. On Saturday, at 7:30 p.m., police were alerted to a burglary at the maintenance building inside the Lakeview Cemetery grounds. It is alleged that the teenagers made a forceful entry into the building and stole a John Deere Gator inside. Police located the teenagers in possession of the vehicle near Winsor and Price streets. One was taken into custody, while another fled and was taken into custody with the assistance of witnesses. The male that attempted to flee was additionally charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Both were taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Cassie R. Moore, 28, of Falconer was charged with petit larceny. On May 11, at 1 p.m., police responded to Dollar General where employees reportedly had a shoplifter in custody. It is alleged that Moore attempted to steal items in her purse. She was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Dale R. Linkous, 18, of Celoron was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and trespassing. On Friday, at 11:30 p.m., police responded to a 100 E. Livingstone Ave. address for a report of a vehicle trespassing on private property. It is alleged that Linkous was operating a vehicle on property owned by Brigottas Farmland and Produce in a destructive manner. Specifically, it is alleged that he was spinning his tires and driving on grass mowed and maintained by the Brigottas. Linkous was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Tiffany M. Andolora, 22, of Kennedy was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more. On May 8, at 3:09 a.m., police responded to a motorcycle accident in front of Titan X on Allen Street Extension. It is alleged that the driver – Andolora – was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Natasha M. Brown, 31, and Shawn M. Jenkins, 39, both of Jamestown, were charged with disorderly conduct. On Sunday, at 4:58 a.m., Brown and Jenkins entered the Arrowmart on Route 60 in Jamestown and allegedly used obscene language toward the store clerk. Both were scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Shawnette L. Williamson, 22, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. On Thursday, at 10:36 p.m., police responded to a West 12th Street address for a reported physical domestic incident. It is alleged that Williamson kicked and broke a door inside a residence during an altercation with another female. She was taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
Brandon T. Stafford, 21, was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. On Sunday, at 4:09 a.m., police responded to 409 E. Virginia Blvd. for a trespass complaint. A victim alleged that an intoxicated male tried to enter his residence and then fled on foot. As officers searched the area, the suspect – Stafford – returned and police witnessed him enter the residence. He was reportedly found hiding behind the front door. Stafford was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.
Ryan C. Spriggs, 31, of Ashville was charged with no/inadequate headlights, failure to keep right, felony driving while intoxicated, felony DWI per se and resisting arrest. On Tuesday, at 12:08 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle in the area of Sturges Street and Van Buren Street. It is alleged that the driver – Spriggs – began acting irrational and uncooperative,wildly punching the steering wheel of the vehicle and yelling. When asked to perform field sobriety tests, he allegedly became confrontational toward officers. Sprigg was allegedly intoxicated and taken to the city jail. He will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

SHERMAN-James L. Murray, 27, and Brooke M. Blanchard, 36, both of Sherman, were charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. On Sunday, deputies responded to a residence in North Harmony for a report of disorderly subjects. It is alleged that an altercation involving Murray and Blanchard resulted in property damaged in the presence of children. Both were scheduled to appear in North Harmony Court.
CARROLL-Chad M. Swan, 26, of Kennedy was charged with DWI, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to keep right. On Friday, at 2:29 a.m., deputies responded to a property damage vehicle accident on West Main Street in Carroll. It is alleged that the driver-Swan-was intoxicated. He was issued tickets to appear in Carroll Court at a later date.
POMFRET-Michael R. Nichols, 49, of Ashville was charged with speeding, DWI, DWI per se and a petit larceny warrant. On Thursday, at 12:07 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Fredonia Stockton Road in Pomfret for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that the driver – Nichols – was intoxicated and had an outstanding petit larceny warrant out of Fredonia. Nichols was processed for DWI and turned over to the Fredonia Police Department.
SHERMAN-Mark A. Kopta Jr., 37, of Clymer was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a motor vehicle while registration suspended. On Thursday, at 9:52 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle and determined that the driver – Kopta – was driving with a suspended registration. Kopta’s driving privileges in New York state were also allegedly suspended. He was issued tickets to appear in Sherman Court.
ELLERY-Carl E. Case, 48, of Bemus Point was charged with DWI per se, DWI common law and failure to use turn signal. On May 4, at 1:40 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Dutch Hollow Road in Ellery that allegedly committed a traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Case – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Ellery Court at a later date.
FREDONIA-Joshua A. Carvalho, 20, of Fredonia was charged with second-degree criminal sale of marijuana. On May 1, at 5:40 p.m., deputies served an arrest warrant for Carvalho in Pomfret. Carvalho reportedly had an active probation warrant for his arrest for allegedly selling marijuana. He was committed to the county jail.
Erica L. G. Burkholder, 28, of Jamestown was charged with five counts of second-degree forgery, petit larceny, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree possession of a forged instrument. On April 29, at 1:15 p.m., deputies served a warrant on Burkholder on the aforementioned charges. No further details were released.
MAYVILLE-Kathryn S. Fisher, 38, of Farmington, Ohio, was charged with fugitive from justice. On May 1, at 10:50 a.m., Fisher was visiting at the county jail. During a check prior to entering the jail, it was determined that Fisher was allegedly wanted out of Geauga County, Ohio. Fisher was detained at the jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
HARMONY – Peggy J. Stravato, 42, of Panama, was charged with driving while intoxicated. On Saturday, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies pulled a vehicle over for multiple traffic violations on Niobe Road in the town of Harmony. The driver was identified as Stravato, and deputies found she had allegedly been operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Stravato was charged with DWI, DWI per se having a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to keep right. Stravato was processed and released and will appear in the town of Harmony Court at a later date.
SHERMAN – Patrick J. Fellows, 20, of Jamestown, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On Thursday around 12:32 a.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies on patrol stopped a vehicle for an observed traffic violation on Park Street in the village of Sherman. During the interaction, deputies discovered that a passenger was in possession of a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Fellows was issued a citation directing him to appear in the village of Sherman Court at a later date.
FRENCH CREEK -?Philip R Wisniewski, 45, of Clymer, was charged with driving while intoxicated. On Thursday at 11:20 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies pulled Wisniewski’s vehicle over on Route 426 in the town of French Creek for failing to keep right. During the traffic stop, it was determined that Wisniewski was under the influence of alcohol and he was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. In addition to the driving while intoxicated charge, after consenting to a breath test, Wisniewski was charged with having a blood alcohol content of .14 percent. He was later released on his own recognizance and will appear in the town of French Creek Court at a later date.
James R. Stearns, 67, of Ripley, was charged with driving while intoxicated. On Friday around 6:10 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene of a property damage accident. After an investigation at the scene, deputies allege Stearns was operating a vehicle in a intoxicated condition and struck another motor vehicle. After processing, Stearns was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and uninspected motor vehicle. Stearns was issued tickets and is to appear in North Harmony Court on a later date.

Thomas C. Lauer, 57, of Jamestown, was taken into custody by Jamestown police officers. On Saturday at 8:44 a.m., officers observed Lauer operating a vehicle on Bowen Street near Peach Street and acknowledged his operating privileges were revoked in New York state. Officers initiated a traffic stop and while speaking to Lauer observed a set of chuka sticks, also known as a nunchakus, in the backseat of his vehicle. Lauer was taken into custody and transported to the city jail where he was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.

Darlene Daniels, 49, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree harassment after a number of police agencies responded to The Bullfrog in Jamestown early Saturday morning. Daniels was reportedly charged following the report of a subject that had just been assaulted. An investigation revealed the victim had been struck several times by Daniels without provocation that led to Daniels being placed under arrest. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in City Court to answer the charge.

SUGAR GROVE, Pa. – William A Saunders, 41, was charged with simple domestic assault. On Friday at 5:10 p.m., officers with the Pennsylvania State Police responded to 1591 Hazelton Hollow Road in Sugar Grove, Pa. It is alleged that Saunders placed a victim under the age of 18 into a chokehold and struck the victim multiple times in the head/neck/face area. Saunders was held in Warren County Jail.

Stephen A. Hinkley, 33, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment. On Tuesday, at 11:59 p.m., police responded to an Eagle Street address for a reported domestic dispute. It is alleged that Hinkley screwed the front door of his residence shut, not allowing the victim to leave during the dispute. Hinkley was taken into custody and transported to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Sean P. Conley, 22, was charged with driving while intoxicated. On Sunday, at 12:36 a.m., Conley was pulled over for allegedly failing to keep right on Big Tree Road in Busti. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.
Crystal R. Borst was charged with failure to appear. On Tuesday, at 9:30 p.m., Borst was taken into custody on a bench warrant for allegedly failing to appear at a previous court date. She was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 cash or $2,000 property bond. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jose A. Santiago, 39, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. On April 10, an individual reported to police that they had lost their wallet at the Burger King in Falconer. Police were able to use surveillance video to determine that the wallet was picked up by an unknown male. Santiago was identified as the suspect and charged. He was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court. The wallet was not recovered.
Jeffrey L. Hummel of Falconer was charged with grand larceny. On April 27, it is alleged that Hummel took money from his register to buy lotto tickets. He was issued an appearance ticket to Ellicott Court.
Melinda M. Rivera, 22, of Jamestown was charged with harassment. On April 23, at 5 p.m., police were dispatched to the Kwik Fill in Falconer for a reported subject – Rivera – making physical threats of harm to another person. Rivera was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

POMFRET-Eladio Merced, 27, of Gowanda was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and parking on pavement. On April 30, at 1:40 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle that was stopped in the middle of Route 60 in Pomfret. It is alleged that the driver – Merced – was intoxicated. He was arraigned in Pomfret Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.
SHERIDAN-Dalton A. Stetter, 18, of Williamsville was charged with DWI, DWI per se and inadequate brake lights. On Sunday, at 2:25 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle in Sheridan that allegedly had inadequate brake lights. The driver – Stetter – was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Sheridan Court.
DUNKIRK – John C. Tinstman, 49, of Dunkirk was charged with DWI, DWI per se and operating with less than two headlights. On Saturday, at 10:51 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly operating with less than two headlights in Dunkirk. It is alleged that the driver – Tinstman – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Dunkirk Court.
DUNKIRK-Donald D. Freitas, 47, of Fredonia was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI and moving from lane unsafely. On April 24, at 2:56 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that allegedly made several lane violations on Route 60 in Dunkirk. It is alleged that the driver – Freitas – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Dunkirk Court.
MAYVILLE – Joathylet M. Ruedas, 31, of Jamestown was charged with five counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny and misuse of food stamps. On Thursday, at 5:10 p.m., Ruedas was charged with several felony counts related to welfare fraud. It is alleged that Ruedas failed to report earned income to the Department of Health and Human Services. From Sept. 1, 2014, through May 31, 2015, she allegedly filed five separate false applications which failed to report her income. As a result of this fraud, Ruedas received $910 in cash assistance, $1,547 in food stamps and $515 in HEAP. This totalled $2,972 in unentitled benefits that was stolen from the Department of Health and Human Services. Ruedas was issued appearance tickets for June 2 in Jamestown City Court.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
A 17-year-old student was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Monday, police responded to a call at the Randolph Academy when staff members discovered the student was allegedly in possession of five capsules that contained 2.1 grams of amphetamine. The student was arraigned in Conewango Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.

POMFRET – Robert J. Cole, 68, of Cassadaga, was charged with DWI, DWI per se, moving from lane unsafely, driving across hazard markings and failure to use turn signal. On Saturday at approximately 12:05 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 60 in Pomfret for multiple traffic infractions. The operator of the vehicle was found to be Cole. After an investigation, it was determined that he was intoxicated. Cole was arrested and charged. He was released with traffic tickets, and will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
DUNKIRK – Dean T. Campese II, 20, of Dunkirk was charged for allegedly driving while intoxicated. On Friday around 10:07 p.m., officers pulled Campese’s vehicle over after witnessing an alleged traffic violation. After an investigation, it was determined that Campese was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated state. He was arrested for DWI, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 or greater, speeding in zone and possession of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. He was released with appearance tickets and is due back in Town of Dunkirk Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Natalie M. Wescott, 21, of Lakewood and Alisha Kelsey, 23, of Jamestown, were handed several charges after a vehicle stop on Saturday morning. Kelsey was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, inadequate brakes and unlicensed operator. Wescott was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, controlled substance outside of ultimate user’s original container and open container in a motor vehicle. At approximately 1:45 a.m., an officer was on patrol on Hunt Road in Busti. The officer observed a vehicle traveling with a brake lamp out and stopped the vehicle. Upon further investigation, the vehicle’s operator, Kelsey, was found to be in possession of marijuana and was driving on a permit-only New York state license. Upon speaking with Wescott, who was located in the rear seat, she was allegedly found to be in possession of a of a controlled substance, open containers of alcohol and marijuana. Both Kelsey and Wescott were issued appearance tickets and will appear in Busti Court at a later date to answer charges.
JAMESTOWN
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Rasul N. Bonds of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault on Saturday morning. At approximately 7:17 a.m., officers were dispatched to 9 Peach St. for a domestic incident in progress. Officers made contact with the victim and noticed that items had been thrown about the residence and a fight had occurred before the officers’ arrival. Bonds was located inside the residence and was taken into custody. He was transported to city jail without incident where he is awaiting arraignment.
